I’ve had intestinal surgery and have a sensitivity to dairy, processed foods, etc. but I’ve been using this for around five months now and still have zero issues. I use the chocolate flavor in protein shakes and the vanilla for smoothies and it’s just great. The only downsides to me are the price and the protein amount per serving but both are completely outweighed by the fact that the ingredients are real and that it doesn’t kill my stomach.

I really wanted to love this protein (chocolate) because the ingredients are so clean, but I am beyond disappointed. For a product that costs $69, the flavor profile is completely off. It has this very strange, lingering aroma of tobacco and ash. It’s not just a bad chocolate taste; it’s a specific retro-nasal sensation that is identical to nicotine gum. Every time I take a sip, I get that metallic, ashy sting in the back of my throat that is impossible to ignore. I’ve tried everything to fix it adding extra cacao, using cashew milk, etc. milk..but that chemical/tobacco-like scent is so strong that it overpowers everything else. I have a very sensitive palate, and this honestly tastes like a dirty ashtray. 😔 It’s a huge waste of money. If you’re looking for a delicious, smooth chocolate protein, this isn't it. I’m stuck with an expensive bag that I simply cannot drink.
