Smooth, Fresh & Great Quality Matcha
Very smooth, fresh matcha with a clean taste and vibrant color. Mixes well and tastes high quality. I’ve been enjoying it daily and would definitely order again!

Good quality matcha
So far, I tried different matcha teas from local supermarkets, and in some coffee shops. Whenever I drank one of those, I liked it but the bitterness took a best of it. That is the only thing I did not like. Those matcha I tried were commercial products, not ceremonial matcha. After drinking 6 cups of Naoki matcha, I started liking it completely. The reason behind is that I can tell that this matcha is much less bitter and smoother than any other I tried. This is not because of the amount of grams I put. Comparing 2gr of commercial matcha with 2gr of Naoki ceremonial, you can clearly taste the difference. Naoki is smooth, not bitter and has lighter green color. On top of that, I can tell that Naoki in my opinion contains less caffeine and the feeling I got from it is as I have more energy without caffeine side effects as I get from other matcha teas. The only downside is the price. For 1.75oz you get around 20-25 cups which lasts about 20 days (in my case). If it was about $5-7 cheaper per 1.75oz bag, I would definitely give it 5 stars.

My first try with this brand
This is my first time trying this brand of matcha. My cheaper go to is Matcha love and sometimes Jade matcha if it’s on sale. I made a matcha latte with 3/4 cup of hot water, 1/4 cup of warmed whole milk, 10g of honey and 2 g of sifted naoki matcha. The matcha is bright green in color with a mild nutty flavor and mild astringency and bitterness. Nothing overpowering or overwhelming. Very pleasant. The powder blended very well. My cheaper go to matchas have a higher astringent and bitterness profile with a little bit of fishiness thrown in there. **Sifting matcha powder through a fine mesh sieve makes all the difference in taste and blend ability! Try it!!! ** So far, I would definitely buy again.

Nice but too expensive
Has a nice flavor but astronomically expensive and I don't like the packaging. So much of the precious powder clings to a nooks and crannies and the bag material.
