Question 1

1. Will this battery fit my Greenworks trimmer/mower/blower or other tools?

Accepted Answer

The Greenworks batteries are interchangeable with tools that are of Greenworks 60V platform. The difference between batteries of same voltage is ampere-hour (Ah) rating. The higher ampere-hour on the battery is the more run time it offers.

Question 2

2. Why buy genuine Greenworks battery instead of a cheap aftermarket alternative?

Accepted Answer

Aftermarket batteries may save you money upfront, but they often lack proper safety circuits, official services and the Greenworks battery management system. For reliable power, safety, and peace of mind, always choose genuine battery packs.

Question 3

3. How long can this battery last on a full charge?

Accepted Answer

Runtime depends on the workload intensity and the battery's capacity. For example, with a 24V 4.0Ah battery, intermittent use on a drill can last several hours, while on high-draw tools like a mower or chainsaw, runtime may be 30 mins to 1 hour.

Question 4

4. How do I check the charge on my battery?

Accepted Answer

Press the battery capacity indicator (BCI) button located at the end of the battery. The lights will illuminate according to the battery capacity level. Please note this switch does require a firm direct push using the tip of your finger.

Question 5

5. How do I store the battery? Can I leave the battery in the garage or shed?

Accepted Answer

When the battery is not in use, please store it indoor, in a cool dry area, away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and battery disconnected from charger. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most out of the battery life.
