Rutland Products Dry Mix 21125 Refractory Mortar 2550F Air Hardening Fire Cement Dark Grey 2.5 lbs Tab

Perfect for “pointing” in missing mortar in your fireplace. It drys fast so will not want to mix the entire bucket at one time. I used disposable solo cups to mix a little at a time - less water than you think you need. After pointing it in, sprinkle some ashes in the surface and it will totally blend in to your old mortar.

good stuff ease to work with. container is smaller than it appears.

Used as directed,it worked amazingly well to repair and in some places replace the lining of the firebox of my wood burning cookstove.

if you think you need one, you'd better order 3. With ciment, like chocolate, there's never enough. It's a fine powder, easy for moulding.

Used this product to line the interior of a forge.
