Im a great believer in acupuncture and massage so decided to give this acupressure mat a go. I wanted to be able to have something at home and also to get a good one so decided to go for a Shakti after doing my research. I love their ethos and I started in the level one, the first step for beginners. At first it can be quite painful. I couldn’t cope with the pain during my first try so I wore a thin layer of clothing, gradually reducing it until I could manage the discomfort. It was uncomfortable initially but the feeling after using it is worth it! It eases tension and pain by encourages blood flow to the area. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and so far it has definitely improved my sleep. Im all for alternative wellness wherever possible and now use it in my daily routine before bedtime. First time trying this was a little sore but boy does it help. I use it post exercise to relieve lower back pain and tension. I use it for 20 minutes. I can definitely notice the difference afterwards. If you’re unsure, it’s definitely worth trying.
