Yes its loud but not as loud as you would expect, the bass turns gets drowned out at max vol. The high end really takes over too much the louder you go. I wish it was louder for the weight and size of it

JBL bluetooth speaker
Works excellent and came in original box wit manual n cord to charge it, its pretty loud for a battery power stereo, excellent grip handle, but kinda heavy to carry.

Nitpicky faults, but still the best
Not going to debate the sound quality here. JBL is awesome. And it's been covered in all the other reviews. Just want to point out a couple of nitpicky items. First off the volume and other buttons on the JBL camouflage version blend in too well. If it's night you can't see them. They should have made them the same color neon orange as they did the rubber pads underneath. The other gripe I have is that this model of JBL will not connect to your Chromebook. I love that it has the 3 mm wired connection that will bypass that, but the Bluetooth is simply not compatible. I'm not casting blame. I don't know if that's the chromebook's fault or JBL's fault.. I'm just saying it doesn't happen. It's a software glitch
