Folds small, and works great!
I chose this one primarily for cost, how small it folds up, and has more than one use. I have been looking at the scrubba bag (not this one) for months, I even borrowed a friendโs to try it out. Iโm not in love with how big it is and how expensive it is! I am a huge fan of one bag travel and I camp a lot, so I thought this bag would be great for me. I finally got a chance to use it. I love that it folds up so small that it barely takes up any more room than my 2 gallon Ziploc bag I was using before, the hand thing in there is a little bit weird, but it does help me agitate and really get my clothes clean. And I like the little air drain on it because all good water bags have an air drain so you can squeeze all the extra air out. I also like that it has more than one use. When Iโm on a cruise and Iโm using this as my washing bag. I can also use as my water bag out on excursions itโs a little bit weird that it has the hand thing in there, but still worth it because now I have two uses for one very small item. I highly recommend this bag. It is thinner and lighter than the scrubba bag. And also not ridiculously priced.

If you handwash, and or travel this is winner.
I absolutely love this handy little portable washing bag. It makes hands washing so easy, and convenient. The size is perfect for my needs. The clothes come out nice and clean every time, it's light, easy to store when not in use, an amazing little performer for a very reasonable price point. The addition of a way to handwash, without having your hand ever touch the water, is really nice.

It's what our ancestors did way before the machine
Lost my home in March. Been living in the Cascades for months now trying to get housing. Hard to say sometimes if I feel homless when I have things like this and the mountains. I'm able to wash my clothes I just use some doc brons soap tea tree to keep the bugs away and help with wounds. I'm able to keep my two year old and wife's clothes clean as longs as we are camped near fresh water. First I use soap then I fill it with plain water and repeat and rinse a couple times after using the soap. Clothes come out very clean and it's become something I do that brings satisfaction to my everyday life out here. It honestly a lot of work some days I'm using it all day since my girls have a good amount of clothing the frequently use. Your arms will get tired if you have to wash a lot of stuff but it's clean energy and honest work that you do for yourself amd you learn how to be more resourceful. I'm sure this comes in handy if your traveling and staying at motels just make sure you have plan on how to hang your clothes. I bought a backpacking clothes hanger that is just a bungie cord with clips on it but paracord or any strong line will work of course. If you go camping and plan to use this I recommend trying out doc bronners magic soap. It works for everything even on your garden since it's made with regenerative oils. It's has many different versions to choose from with different uses like tea tree to help with bugs and wounds after washing with it. Or you can go with the baby version that is fragrant free so you don't attract a bear. Also won't be harsh on your wash bag and fabrics like your wool layers. Good for the environment both bag and soap combined and good for your soul and perspective. Helps make you feel capable of getting things done yourself and show you that your capable of doing more than you know.

A very useful device for washing a small amount of laundry on a trip.
Great device. I did laundry in it for two weeks while I was traveling. The hand bag is big enough to put my foot in. That way I was able to do laundry effortlessly, stepping on the laundry. Just be careful not to put the bag on a sharp surface that could puncture it. The built-in valve is actually more convenient for releasing excess air than for draining water.

Not what I expected
I somehow thought that this bag had the scrubbing nubs in it and it doesn't. It's basically a dry bag with a sleeve and a port to let air out. I just tested it yesterday by washing some of my merino undies and it seems to work alright. It's got a good-sized capacity, but that also makes it somewhat clunky to work with. Use of the sleeve was also just so-so. Like someone else in the comments said, it probably would work better if you just wore kitchen gloves and put your hands inside it. Bottom line is, I wouldn't get this one again, I'd try one of the bags with nubs.

Works as designed, but I won't use it that way
This works as described. You put in the clothes and soap, close it up, squeeze and stir the clothes, and then rinse several times using the same process (but with no soap obviously). After the first rinse I gave up and just stuck my hand in the bag and finished that way. The annoyance of sealing the bag every time wasn't worth it. If I was washing barf or poop out of clothes I would probably use as designed, but otherwise I'll save time and effort and just get my hand wet. Having said that, this still beats a bucket because it can wash more things at a time, and packs smaller. So I guess it's worth it for that reason, plus there's the option to keep your hand out of the water. Either way, you will want to do this in a tub or shower because of splashing when you pour out the water. Or a utility sink works. I don't think a bathroom sink would be big enough.

Perfect for light load washing
Have taken it on all trips for those clothing mishaps that need cleaning asap. Definitely better than using the hotel sink.
