Yes, this is a coarse grind, so is ideal for french press.

Could this be used with a chemex?

I bought this coffee to use with a percolator. It's coarse ground (but not overly) so you could probably use it with a chemex.

"300 grams"? How much is that in Merica?

300 grams are still 300 grams in America.

Is this coffee for cold brew?

While it is not marketed specifically for cold brew, I have found that most ground coffee work well with that process.

Aroma and taste
