Dirty Mouth Organic Toothpowder #1 Best Rated All Natural Dental Cleanser - Gently Polishes, Detoxifies, Re-Mineralizes, Strengthens Teeth - Peppermint (1 oz = 3rd Supply) Primal Life Organics : desertcart.co.uk: Health & Personal Care Review: I am allergic to virtually all the big name brand tube toothpastes out there. And so many of the “alternative” types, with eco- friendly ingredients in them, well, they taste just dreadful. I was about to give up on tooth cleaning products altogether and just go to something like baking soda, but I thought about when I was a kid, when we used stuff called tooth powder….hmmm. I wondered if something like that was still being sold. A quick search on desertcart told me it was. I tried a different brand, which tasted terrible. Then I found this brand, which had a very mild peppermint, not spearmint ( which I detest) flavor, and I was sold. I love this stuff. It cleans my teeth better than regular toothpaste, it’s very mild and gentle, doesn’t foam too much but foams enough to do the job. It rinses out easily, and leaves my teeth feeling smooth and very clean. If you can’t stand the strong flavorings and chemicals in regular toothpastes, this one is a great one to try. You may well be pleasantly surprised. One jar lasts quite a long time. It’s great for traveling, and is so much less messy in your bathroom than a bent, crumpled and gicked-up partially used tube of toothpaste is. I’ll be staying with this stuff. Review: LOVE this tooth powder. I’ve tried other natural teeth cleaning options and this makes my teeth feel the cleanest I will forever repurchase.

This tooth powder is over-rated. Not much density to the powder. I like the peppermint taste, but overall is okay.

I'm in my late 30s. I've always had slightly sensitive teeth (when people bite ice cream, I cringe), but in the last 2-3 years, it's been even worse. My dentist told me to use Sensodyne all the time, so I did- and it helped, but didn't solve the problem completely. Plus, if I started to not use it- say, if I used regular tooth paste in the morning and Sensodyne at night for a week straight- my teeth would start to get really bad again. I was researching if there was anything I could do, and came across this product. I read a few reviews written by people with sensitive teeth who said that this product helped completely- and I was suspicious, but decided to give it a try. I started out by swapping the powder for one of my two brushing sessions (using Sensodyne the other time), since in the past, I noticed sensitivity after about a week. A week went by with no issues, so I went to the tooth powder 100% of the time. I was SHOCKED when it truly, totally nixed my tooth sensitivity. I've been using this stuff for 2-3 months now, and I feel like I COULD bite into ice cream if I wanted- and that absolutely blows me away!! I no longer have to keep cold water on the left side of my mouth only, and the cold water at the dentist does not bother me either. It's seriously like a miracle product. I know that the price is high, BUT you actually get a TON of brushing sessions out of the container (you really don't need to use much powder at all). In addition, the ingredients are so much cleaner & better as compared to "normal" toothpaste. I am absolutely blown away by the efficacy of this tooth powder. I am far from running out in my little container, but have already bought a refill bag from Primal Life directly so I always have it on-hand. I'm sold and will basically be using this forever.

Initially, I bought this tooth powder because I was researching how to remineralize/strengthen my teeth. At my dentist appointment on 12/17/18, my dentist was very concerned and said I might need to get some fillings due to the concerning areas she was finding throughout my exam. She took some x-rays and said she would call me if I needed to get a few fillings (she never called, so my guess is my teeth weren't quite at that point yet). I told her that I had been drinking lots of lemon water, she told me to rinse my mouth out with clean water after drinking lemon water because it's bad for your teeth. After leaving, I nervously searched the internet on how to remineralize/strenghten teeth. I started with coconut oil pulling daily, sometimes twice a day. I also stopped drinking lemon water. Then I kept searching the internet for other ways to help the strenthening process, and I stumbled across this tooth powder. I received this product on 3/15/19, so the next day I started brushing with the powder twice a day. Then at some point I eventually stopped oil pulling and just using the powder alone. On 4/19/19, I sat in the chair at my dentist appointment then asked her about oil pulling, she didn't seem to know much about that. I then asked her about the tooth powder. She said, you need to use something with flouride also. So maybe you can alternate between brushing your teeth with this and brushing your teeth with a toothpaste that has fluoride. I was quite nervous to face another exam due to thinking about what she just said and the fact that on my last exam she had found concerning areas. After my exam I asked her, do I need to get a fluoride treatment or fill any cavities? It was almost like she was sitting there scratching her head with confusion, then she said no, you don't need any of that. Your exam was VERY good. And of course I was shocked but excited that I avoided any additional dental work this time around. Since I did 3 things all at once (stopped drinking lemon water, started oil pulling and brushing with this tooth powder), it's kind of hard to determine what made my dental exam VERY good. I am leaning towards the tooth powder. I guess I will know more during my next dental visit. Especially since I haven't been oil pulling, and I drank more lemon water (but rinsed with clean water afterwards) for several weeks. The reasons why I'm giving this tooth powder 3/5 stars is because after brushing with the tooth powder, it would give me really bad stomach aches, but then I rinsed my mouth out afterwards, and the stomach aches were more tolerable. Also, because the product is so expensive - $25 for the 3 month container. And lastly, because it's easy to spill your hard earned $25 container down the sink. Which is why I had to buy another $25 container of the tooth powder only 3 weeks later on 4/8/19. So hopefully I don't spill it again, and I can keep using it until my next dental check up in a few months. Other benefits is that it helps with bad breath, since I couldn't smell my own breath, I asked a friend to smell my breath, then they seemed unsure what my breath smelled like, so then I gave some of the new batch of tooth powder to my friend to use and smelled their breath before use, then immediately after use. It didn't work that well on that first dose, but it worked quite well after the 2nd use the next day. And that included brushing the teeth for at least 2 minutes (or more), then brushing the tongue approximately 30-60 seconds too, then spitting out and rinsing with clean water.
