ShocSox Sand Socks for Beach Volleyball & Soccer – Reinforced Sand Volleyball Socks with No-Holes Soles & Maximum Protection

These were seriously SO good! I bought them, because the previous year at the beach I cut my foot on a shell. These held up so well and never came apart. I stepped on PLENTY of shells and walked the whole beach in them. I have very sensitive feet so was super surprised I was able to even walk on the cement and gravel on the way home. I had previously tried lots of those water shoes, but they would get very heavy with water and you couldn't swim in them. These were like a second skin. They might feel tight when you first get them, but having them tighter versus looser will be a blessing when you're swimming and they're not flopping around everywhere.

I haven't been wearing them for too long but it seems these guys hold up even when you are off the sand. I've been wearing these in public, on asphalt, concrete, gravel, dirt, and my next goal is to go hiking up a mountain in them. I might bring a pair of hiking boots with me in case they give but i genuinely dont think they will give. They are a little slippery off the sand but again, these are designed for sandy terrains, as advertised. Very protective for your feet with the kevlar souls, and it truly does give you that natural barefoot feel. Tiny little bit of fray on the seems, but a tiny dab of shoe goo gently spread across the seems seem to prevent any more damage, and again I am wearing them off the sand so that's probably the only reason the seems are fraying at all, and it is not enough fray to make me concerned for the shoes health because it really is only a tiny amount.

I took these on a trip where we’d be in and out of the water, both on hot sand and a pebbly ocean bottom in the surf. On the beach, no sand got in. And my feet didn’t get burned. I really wanted these to also keep the sand out while I was in the surf. And they did a pretty good job of it, but not perfect. These are way better than water shoes at keeping the sand out. No sand penetration would have been 5 stars. These are the best at solving the sand problem I’ve found so far.

My wife has been wearing these at the pool for a couple of months. She wanted something to keep the tops of her feet covered from the sun and help her avoid slipping, and they’ve worked well for both. They’re comfortable, easy to put on and take off, and her feet don’t feel sweaty in them. She’s had good grip around the pool without slipping. The material and seams have held up well so far, with no quality issues. Although they’re sold as sand socks, they’ve been a great fit for her pool routine.

Perfect for beach volleyball! They protect my feet from both hot and cold sand, and they’re really easy to wash after use.

Great fit. Very comfortable, wore them on the beach in Santa Cruz for 5 days. No noticeable wear on the bottom.

Socks are not that durable. 5 uses at hotels and they developed a hole in the toe.

I am obsessed with these. I needed something to keep my feet safe while walking in the creek with sharp rocks etc. They are soft, tight fit, and high enough sand and rocks won't get inside. I can't wait to wear them paddleboarding and creek walking this summer.

They are amazing and durable, fit snugly/ true to size. I didn’t feel the heat even in sweltering 45 degree heat! Some sand does get in through the Velcro but that is made up for in durability. I would highly recommend this product to beach volleyball players.

Great socks, they do exactly as they are supposed to. They were great and super cold sand as well as super hot sand. They don’t wear through quickly like normal socks. And hold up well. They are a bit pricey on the downside.
