Where should I place the monitor for best results?

Only indoors (never outdoors), when placing it avoid areas of high ventilation as it could skew the results. We recommend placing it in areas where people gather like the kitchen or living room. Can be placed on a surface or wall-mounted.

Will I have accurate measurements from day 1?

Humidity and temperature are ready from day 1. For radon levels long-term average is important, so wait until after the first month before you act.

What’s with the hub feature in View Radon?

Users monitoring air in multiple rooms with both View and Wave monitors can use the app to link their Wave monitors to the View’s hub. This extends View Radon internet connectivity to Airthings Wave monitors and extends battery life.

Why wait at least 30 days before acting on your measured radon level?

Radon levels fluctuate due to weather changes, so a longer test provides a more accurate average, as short-term tests may miss this. Levels can take days to a month to stabilize within ±10% accuracy. Waiting at least 30 days ensures reliable results.
