I recently purchased the Swan Mineral Oil 16 oz for a DIY project involving snow globe tumblers, and I couldn’t be more impressed with how well it works! The product is really good but it's a little expensive.

My cutting boards are protected with regular applications of this food-safe oil which was recommended by the manufacturer. The wood is protected from degrading with use and I find it easy to hand wash with light applications of dish soap. I apply according to the cutting ford manufacturers recommendations with great results. Applications last months and it is easy to touch up. I know that there are many other uses for the oil but this is my main purpose for the purchase. You get a large bottle which lasts a long time and does not degrade. Good value.
