It is an oil/gas mixture that is outlined in the manual.

This has 2 grease zerks but no instructions on how to lube it.

You are supposed to lubricate as instructed in the manual. The zerks are common size.

Can these be stacked to get a 38” extension?

Sir, yes. But digging a 10M deep hole is a very tiring work, believe that you didnot want to do it.
