Uncle John's Gigantic Bathroom Reader

If you are a fan of trivia you will love these book's. I think I have bought all of them, and have passed them on, have several friend's and family that are now big fan's. I have been so surprised how many time's a subject will come up and I know the story or have the answer to a question. Because I will have read about it in one of these great book's. It is fun.

Wonderful series of books, and this is a shining example!! Only bad part is the extended period of time i now spend on the throne... someone tried telling me that its entirely ok to read a "uncle johns bathroom reader" while not in the bathroom. The disgust of such an idea led me to wash their mouth out with soap and make them complete 30 hail marys for such an egregious sin!!! Well, now my prison term is over and the comfort this book provided while i was serving the sentence for "assault" was most welcome! Assault!!! I was upholding the honor of where these books should be read!!! I have since solemnly swore to not ever commit physical harm to anyone who reads these in the wrong room of the house or even suggests the idea, but i know where ill be reading mine!! On the john!!

A must have for any avid Uncle John reader! The moment I took it out of the mailbox, I made a beeline for my couch, dove right in and before I knew it, like all the prior books I completely lost track of time.. The pages flew by, the information more interesting by the page.. The best part is when your done with the page whether the story is over or not you have the foot to read at the bottom to change up the pace. It is impossible to go more than a few pages without learning something new and interesting.. An excellent start or add to the best book collection you'll ever have!

I have many of Uncle John's Bathroom Readers. I love every single one of them. I read them all from cover to cover, no skipping ahead. I love random bits of information and this is, by far, one of the best series of books to ever created. They literally cover pretty much anything and everything you could think of. The only drawback to the large books like this one is that some of them are comprised of two older edition Bathroom readers which means you could end up buying a book that you already have. Not a big problem though as it tells you what's found in each book, in the description, before you buy it.

I purchased three of these before Christmas as gifts to take around with us for the holidays. There is always someone I forget to get a gift for and this year I was prepared with these books. It is something everyone seemed to enjoy quite a lot.

Okay, you don't need to read this in the bathroom. It's just fun to have around to kill a minute or two here and there. I don't need it in the bathroom but is useful to keep in my truck for entertainment while waiting for my fam to run into the store and that sort of thing. Enjoy.

Actually pretty funny at times

I really laugh alot with reading this and its really something to read I have others that got nosy and read it so its fabulous told them where to get them so fantastic thanks you for having it, will always have time to enjoy this book. Best Book ever, Uncle Johns Gigantic Bathroom reader

I found a Bathroom Reader book a few months ago. I read it from time to time and then got completely hooked. I read it completely. I was so surprised that I bought two of them. Fun and interesting. You will enjoy this if you are a curious person on many different subjects.

Ganz nett gemacht und auch sehr gut für genau das geeignet, was der Titel schon sagt.Von Listen über die "sinnlosesten Gesetze der USA" bis hin zur Ursprungsgeschichte des Baseball oder der Entstehung des Ford T-Model findet sich so ziemlich alles in diesem Buch.Keine 5 Sterne, weil die Triava einfach "hit or miss" sind. Teilweise erfährt man wirklich interessante Dinge und/oder muss schmunzeln, teilweise gibt's aber auch komplette Seiten mit Trivia, die nicht mal im Ansatz interessant oder amüsant sind.

This book is full of so much knowledge. We buy one every year. A great book!
