# Vinyl Wrap – Easy Way to Customize and Refresh Surfaces I picked up this vinyl wrap because I wanted an easy way to customize and refresh a surface without making a permanent change. I’ve been getting a few things together for college, so I like products that can be used for different projects and help personalize my space. The **vinyl has a nice overall appearance** and gives the surface a completely different look once applied. I like that vinyl wrap can be used for more than one type of project, whether you're updating furniture, decorating a dorm item, covering a desk surface, or adding a little personality to something you already own. I found it relatively straightforward to work with. Taking my time during application made it easier to get a smoother finish and avoid unnecessary wrinkles or bubbles. Having a clean, properly prepared surface definitely makes a difference when applying it. One of my favorite things about vinyl wrap is the flexibility it gives you when decorating. Instead of buying an entirely new item, you can change the appearance of something you already have. That’s especially useful for college because dorm spaces are often limited, and I want to make my room feel more personalized. The material also seems practical for DIY projects. I can see myself using the remaining wrap for additional college or organization projects rather than letting it sit unused. Overall, I’m happy with this vinyl wrap. This wrap literally looks like paint when installed. Smooth as glass and very glossy. Ive used 3m scotchbrite 1080 in the past and this Vvivid blows the 3m out of the water. I wrapped my truck’s rear bumper gloss black and you wouldn’t know it wasn’t paint unless you get up real close to it. (Im a novice at vinyl wrapping). Also the clear protective film on the outside, simular to window tint, is a nice touch to prevent scratching while unrolling and cutting. I peeled it off before I applied the vinyl as it stretched better without it

I really wanted to love this product. So let me explain my project. I'm doing a chrome delete on my 2026 Nissan Armada & most of the areas are straight with just a little bit of cornering at the ends. I used 2" wide 3m tape on these areas but I found that when doing the cornering the 3m was a little tough to work with. So when it came to the trim around my back window as you can see in the pictures it's a big Z shape. So I needed a sheet of vinyl to cut a piece out slightly larger than the Z shape. I did my homework & read many reviews & it seemed like alot of people said the Vivid was very workable. There were a few people who mentioned that it wasn't sticking. So I figured I'd buy it and just take a little piece & see how it sticks. Of course that one little piece tucked and stuck perfectly. Anyway so I did all the work got my Z cut out faced it on & worked the rest. Everything was going amazing. This stuff is so easy to work with & yes the gloss black is a really good black. So after getting all my edges cut I proceeded to tuck & tuck & tuck oh yeah & I tucked again. Uggghhh I could rip my hair out 🤦‍♀️. Long story short many of the under edge pieces just kept popping out. I was so sad because everything went sooo well aside from that (very frustrating). So sadly I'm sending this back an I have already purchased the 3m sheets to do this section on each side. Moral of the story sadly is I can't recommend something that only half works. Oh and by the way yes I cleaned the area very well & I did also use a heat gun. Not my first rodeo

I can say it cuts easily and it adheres to the surface well. It look nice in place and the quality appears to be very good. My issue is I had a terrible time trying to install it because of the compound curves on the surface I was working on. It was probably me and not so much the material. I knew It might be a struggle but I thought if I could make it work it would be worth the hassle. I failed. It did look nice on the areas I got it on though. Removing it proved it adheres to the surface well. The instructions included were clear and easy to follow. The curves were too much for me. Would it be durable? Probably from what I can tell. It is worth the price I believe.

I loved this vinyl! I used it to do a chrome delete on my trimmings of my car. It was so easy to cut, it was so easy to mold to the shape of the door. It’s stretchy and durable, I didn’t need any heat to get the air bubbles out. It’s well worth the $16 dollars! :). It looks sooo good on my car it’s a pretty glossy black, it’s so smooth. It was my first time doing any modifications myself and it was super easy to use.

I've used VViViD products for a ton of car projects. Interior trim, exterior trim, custom decals, etc. This brand has a good stretch under heat, great adhesion, and the gloss is fantastic. I would recommend using an adhesion promoter for any trim with compound curves or tight corners for the best results. I was installing a new set of calipers on a project car and after refinishing them, I made custom decals on a cricut, laid them in place with transfer tape, and used 3 coats of 2K clear coat sealing them in place. While not installed on the car yet, they look great.

It's okay, Vinyl. Looks good. The product also arrived with damage. I didn't request a refund just because I wanted to wrap my bike on time, and honestly, this wrap isn't motorcycle-friendly. It needs to be heated too much to simply get bends and sharp angles on fairings. If you plan on using this to wrap a bike, unless it's smooth and has no deep bends and sharp edges, I do not recommend it.

Nice thick wrap. Worked great specialy doing wrap for the first time. Is easier than dig decals.

This is good quality stuff easy to apply. Hopefully it holds up to 150mph+ winds I’ll check back in when I give the test

Un producto horrible, es muy complicado colocarlo y no por la superficie, si no porque no agarra en absoluto a ninguna superficie, si lo pegas una vez y tratas de rectificar olvídate, va a quedar toda el recorte inservible. Una pena y una estafa
