Excellent product! Highly Recommended!
INITIAL REVIEW: Excellent! The Sound Bar is very easy to setup. When I first opened the box and realized how tiny the soundbar and subwoofer were, as someone who already has two elaborate Bose Home Theater Systems, I was skeptical whether it would produce any good sound. I was wrong! Although this cannot be compared to my high-end Bose systems, this little fella packs quite a few big sounds punches. I needed this for my bedroom flat TV where I do not need anything as heavy as my high-end Bose systems, and this soundbar works perfect with just the right amounts of punches and clarity. I love it! I highly recommend this soundbar. UPDATED REVIEW (04-13-2026): I initially gave this Sound Bar five stars after setting up the first one I purchased. Since then, I purchased two additional sets, then I noticed a major problem. The Optical port does not work in any of the three sets. Also, the Bluetooth does not work in two of the three sets. Very disappointing. I returned one set. Therefore, I am changing my review from five stars to only two stars. SECOND UPDATED REVIEW (May 08, 2026): I purchased three Poseidon M60s Soundbars, but I returned one of them. Then I received an email from the manufacturer (seller) with heartfelt apologies and an offer for an upgrade. They sent me the upgraded Skywave F40. This Skywave F40 that I recently receive is a kind and unexpected replacement from the manufacturer (seller? for one of the two remaining Poseidon M60s (lower soundbar tier than the Skywave) that I purchased. I initially was not expecting this upgrade, but the manufacturer reached out to me and offered me an upgraded system. However, that does not, and should not, affect my review here. Although the Poseidon M60s are great (easy to use and have great sound, but I had a little issue with the Optical port); this Skywave replacement is a lot more advanced with more impressive features. For examples, it has forward-firing speakers, side-firing speakers, up-firing speakers, and two surround rear speakers (automatically paired and synched wirelessly). Moreover, the soundbar and sub-woofer of this Skywave are a lot more stylish and streamlined, with gold accents, and it fits any décor – whether hidden off sight or placed in open view. I have been using two separate BOSE 535 III Serries Home Theater system, which are outstanding. However, the Poseidon M60 and Skywave F40 almost rival the Bose systems I have in terms of sound clarity and the Skywave F40’s surround; and at a fraction of the costs of the Bose systems. In fact, the little fellas carry some nice punches and give the Bose systems a run for their money. For example, when watching a movie with the Skywave F40, and you see a vehicle or train coming from the northwest (front-left) of your big screen heading towards the southeast (rear-right); you can literally hear the sound coming from the front left side of the room, coming towards you, passing you by, and vanishing through the rear right side of the room behind you. That’s exactly what my BOSE systems do, they cost me thousands of dollars more. My conclusion: Both the Poseidon M60 and Skywave soundbars are simply marvelous; with the Skywave F40 also having the Bose edge. I can confidently say that both the Poseidon M60 and Skywave F40 deserve FIVE FULL STARS, especially at their price points.

Great sound for a Budget
First sound bar I have ever tried, and now I wonder how I have lived without one for so long. Sound quality is night and day compared to TV speakers, which were adequate before hearing the soundbar but now are unbearable. Definitely worth upgrading your sound system, and for such an affordable price, this is a great purchase. Super easy to set up and is sleek sitting on a TV console. The app is good but not necessary unless you want more customization. The included remote works great if u want to adjust the equalizer. Sound bar also turns on with Tv which makes it so seamless.

Just buy it!
Frankly, I'm a bit stunned. Based on the reviews I have read I expected a noticable improvement over the sound from my bedroom TCL Roku TV speakers. I did not expect an improvement so significant that it caused me to lie down on my bed and spend an entire afternoon listening to music and movie excerpts. The sound is nothing short of amazing. Exceptionally clear dialog, very nice sound stage and stereo separation, and oh-so-lovely bass. But let's be real. Does this soundbar compete with my media room system with a high-end Yamaha AVR and Miller & Kreisel speakers? No. Duh! There's no way a soundbar located underneath the TV can match the sound of three front speakers, two side speakers, two rear speakers, and two ceiling speakers. But we're comparing a $130 soundbar to a several thousand dollar separate component system. Nevertheless the Ultimea M60 is an absolute delight to listen to. Movie voices and solo singing voices are pegged right in the center as they should be. Listening to classical orchestral music, the instruments in the orchestra sound positioned properly. What about Dolby Atmos? Not so much -- without real ceiling speakers, all the electronic gadgetry in the world is not going to be able to make jet airplanes sound like they're roaring over your head. If you are realistic in your expectations, I'm sure the M60 will both meet and exceed them. The setup is very easy and fast. The Bluetooth setup and connection is simple and easy, as well. Using an HDMI connection to the TV allows the TV remote to control the soundbar's basic functions. I do wish the RCA cable which connects the soundbar to the subwoofer were a bit longer, but that can be handled with an appropriate length RCA extension cable with a male and female termination. I highly recommend this soundbar.

ULTIIMEA Poseidon M60
ULTIMEA Poseidon M60 soundbar was a great purchase for the money. It sounds great and was easy to set up. The subwoofer exceeded my expectations in terms of volume and richness. It substantially enhances the audio experience of movies/TV and music. I would say I use it just as much for music via Bluetooth as I do for watching TV, the sound is that good. The remote has a lot going on and can be a little overwhelming to get used to but the iPhone app provides a really nice user experience. Definitely one of the better soundbars I’ve purchased over the years and will be replacing the one I currently have set up in my office with an ULTIMEA like this one that I purchased for my living room.

Best for the price
I’ve been using the ULTIMEA Poseidon M60 Boom 5.1 Soundbar for a bit now, and honestly, it’s one of those products that punches way above its price point. If you’re coming from built-in TV speakers like I was, the difference is immediate and honestly kind of shocking. 🎬 Sound Quality & Performance The biggest standout for me is the 5.1 surround sound with Dolby Atmos support. For a soundbar in this price range, I didn’t expect such a wide and immersive soundstage. Watching movies feels way more cinematic — you can actually hear sounds moving across the room instead of everything coming straight from the TV. Dialogue clarity is another huge win. Voices are crisp and easy to understand, even during loud action scenes, which is something my TV speakers struggled with a lot. There’s also built-in voice enhancement tech that really helps balance everything out. The subwoofer adds solid bass — it’s not over-the-top, but it gives explosions, music, and background effects a lot more depth without being overwhelming. It feels balanced rather than boomy. 🎮 Everyday Use (Movies, Music, Gaming) I’ve tested it across pretty much everything: • Movies: Easily the best use case—feels like a mini home theater • Gaming: Directional audio actually helps with immersion • Music: Surprisingly clean, especially for Bluetooth streaming Bluetooth 5.4 makes pairing quick and stable, and I didn’t notice any lag when streaming audio. ⚙️ Setup & Features Setup was super simple — plug in the soundbar, connect the subwoofer, and you’re basically good to go. No complicated receiver or wiring mess. It also comes with: • HDMI eARC (great for high-quality audio) • Optical & USB connections • App + EQ presets for customization • Remote control for quick adjustments All of that makes it really beginner-friendly if you’ve never owned a sound system before. 👍 What I Loved • Huge upgrade over TV speakers • Clear dialogue without constant volume adjustments • Solid bass that doesn’t overpower • Easy setup (no technical headache) • Great value for the price 👎 Small Downsides • Surround effect is more “virtual” than true rear speakers • Bass is good, but not “shake the house” level • Some fine-tuning controls could be better 🏁 Final Verdict Overall, the Poseidon M60 is an excellent budget-friendly home theater upgrade. It gives you a taste of Dolby Atmos and surround sound without needing a full, expensive setup. If you’re looking for something that’s easy to install, sounds great for movies and gaming, and doesn’t break the bank — this is honestly a solid choice. ⭐ Rating: 9.5/10 – Great value, impressive performance for the price.

Easy to set up, great sound, and a real bargain
My wife and I are seniors who sometimes have trouble hearing the dialogue while watching TV shows and movies. Some years ago we bought a device that boosted the dialogue as promised, but at the expense of the rest of the sound tracks. Music, especially was muted, which really dampened our enjoyment of movie musicals. Finally, it was apparent that we were ready for newer technology. Prior to making a purchase I read dozens of reviews, watched quite a few Youtube videos, and even used ChatGPT for advice and side by side comparisons of multiple products. After all that, factoring in our budget as well as the features, I settled on the Ultimea 5.1 Channel Surround Sound Bar with Subwoofer. It had so much more than I expected, and the price didn't bust the bank. Even for this old guy, assembly and setup were easy. I just put together the two speakers, plugged the subwoofer into it, plugged the HDMI cable into the ARC port of my television, plugged in the power pack, and I was ready to go. We have an older Sony Bravia television, and I did need to tweak a few settings in the AV area before I got any sound. That only took a minute to locate and adjust. Then I picked a movie online that had both songs and a lot of dialogue to really see if this sound bar could deliver what I was looking for. I was not disappointed. The dialogue came in crisp and easy to understand, and to be honest, was clearer than our previous sound bar system that was designed primarily to boost dialogue. Other things I liked were the fact that the subwoofer didn't overpower the room. I've had home theater systems and found I had to really turn down the subwoofers because the entire household could feel the bass when it came on. I wanted something a little more subtle, and that's what I got. Now I should mention that the Ultimea sound bar has plenty of power, 300 watts worth, but I don't need all of that, at least not unless I decide to throw a dance party. For watching TV it's perfect. Another thing I like is that it comes with lots of pre-sets, but also an equalizer that you can use to fine tune each preset according to your own tastes. While I was watching the movie to test it, I gave it a little more bass, and boosted the mid-range a little, and it was exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be more pleased. Because of the size of my TV's base, I had to elevate it the TV so the new soundbar didn't block the spot where the TV read the remote's signal. Ironically, I'm using the old dialogue enhancing console as a riser. My TV is on a narrow buffet, so in order to have room for the cables in the back of the ULTIMEA sound bar, I had to set it up a little to the right of the old console. However, that didn't affect the great sound produced by the new sound bar, so I'm happy. I did install the app, and plan on exploring all of the other capabilities of this device, including the Bluetooth. I'm going to play music from my phone, and I know from the documentation, I can pull up a visual equalizer if I want to tweak the sound even more. This may be the best keptt secret on Amazon in terms of getting the most "bang for your buck." It's a steal at a little over $120, considering the quality of the soundbar and subwoofer, and all of the technology packed into it, not to mention how easy it is to set up. I readily give it 5 stars for quality, ease of set up, bargain price, and performance.

Completely fills the room — an incredible value for the price!
I’ve been using the Ultimea Poseidon M60 since the beginning of April (it’s now mid-June), and I don't have a single complaint. My previous setup was a soundbar with a wireless subwoofer and two wireless plug-in surround speakers, but this Ultimea system performs noticeably better at actually filling the room with immersive sound. The Dolby Atmos makes a huge difference! As you can see in my attached photo, I didn't even need to wall-mount it. The soundbar has a low profile, so it sits right on the console without blocking the bottom of my TV screen at all, even when viewing from a lower angle! I was also able to tuck the subwoofer neatly right into one of the lower shelves of my TV stand, which keeps the setup looking incredibly clean. I have it paired with a TCL TV, but I mostly use my Google Chromecast, and the setup was seamless and perfectly compatible. Hooking it up through HDMI ARC works perfectly, making it incredibly easy to control everything with one remote. The Ultimea app is also a really nice touch—it’s intuitive and lets you easily tweak the EQ. The VoiceMX feature is great for making dialogue crystal clear, and the BassMX gives the subwoofer a really satisfying punch for a 300W system. Bottom line: for the price, this is an absolute steal. Highly recommended if you want premium home theater sound on a budget.

Works Seamlessly With Roku TV and Roku Remote
This Ultimea 5.1 Poseidon M60 sound bar, with its small wired subwoofer, is surprisingly effective. For our spare bedroom, the 55" Roku TV works great. But its rear-firing speaker is somewhat muffled, particularly with dialog. And, of course, no deep bass. I want an integrated front-firing audio system that turns on seamlessly with the TV, and is controlled by the Roku TV's standard remote. Setup: The sound bar comes in two pieces. You twist-lock the two halves together to create a unitary 31" long by 2-3/4" high front-firing bar with multiple tweeters in it. (Small brackets and screws are included if you want to hang the bar on the wall. Mine is sitting under the TV on top of a bureau.) Includes an HDMI cable. Attach the HDMI cable to the HDMI socket on the sound bar, then to the E-ARC HDMI input (ARC= Audio Return Channel) on the Roku TV. Attach the subwoofer to the sound bar via its RCA plug and ~2-meter cable -- no separate subwoofer power is needed. Plug the wall wart for the sound bar into the wall outlet for AC power. Done. The sound bar now turns on when you turn on the TV. The Roku remote now controls volume and mute. You might want to go into the Roku TV's Settings under Audio, but honestly, the Roku recognized the sound bar and the sound bar recognized the TV and its remote immediately. Amazing. The M60 comes with its own remote that needs two AAA batteries (not included) but you can also download the ULTIMEA app for your phone, that wirelessly controls various EQ settings. I didn't even put batteries into the Sound Bar's remote. And once it's set the way you want, there's no need to fiddle with it. I stored the Poseidon's remote away. No more multiple remotes! I experimented with positioning the down-firing, ported subwoofer, which usually is most effective firing toward a corner of the room. At first I put it up high behind the TV, but then placed it on a carpeted floor and thought it would not work that well, but it adds a ton of bass. To be honest, this little sound bar and its subwoofer are not nearly has precise as a dedicated Sony 7.1 amp, 7 separate high quality speakers and a powered dedicated subwoofer. But come on -- the sound bar is $170 versus thousands for a home theater setup. For that money, in a spare bedroom, the Poseidon M60 is more than sufficient. It actually does a pretty decent job of throwing surround sound, considering the surround speakers are in the front and bounce the rear channels off the walls. You want to spend more, go ahead, but this sound bar added the dialog clarity and the thumping subwoofer that really upgraded a bedroom TV. It set up and integrated easily and is controlled by the Roku remote. It turns itself on and off with the TV. It's simple and intuitive to operate, so guests can watch TV if they want. I tested it watching streaming HDR multi-channel movies like Jumanji (great subwoofer test with the drums) and Fifth Element, which has an interesting, complex sound track, and also streaming TV shows. Best part is the dialog is much clearer. The sub adds depth. Is the Poseidon M60 a sophisticated, precise surround sound experience? No. But it does fill the bedroom with clear vocals and a sorta full frequency sound track. It sets up easily and fast, has all kinds of EQ adjustment if you're into that, various presets that actually sound different, and enough power to fill the room. After its first day, I am initially very pleased.
