This was such a big hit with my girls (7&9). Brought it on holiday for a rainy day and it was super fun. Lots of work for the parent though and messy. You have to have the energy and patience for it. Every layer has to dry for 45 mins or so before you can add the next colour. I’d suggest leaving the rainbow for last as it’s tricker. The spout is smaller and you have to move the mold around to get the soap everywhere, it’s quite tricky and we didn’t manage more than two layers for that one. The unicorn is fantastic and easier to pour into. Great activity. Would be good to be able to buy more soap as we have dye and scents left over but are out of soap.

We tried a few other DIY kits before, but this one stood out for being complete, easy to use, and enjoyable. 4 stars overall—fun, educational, and creative, though the soaps could be sturdier.
