I was very pleased with the packaging. It shows me you care about your product and how you present it to customers. The taste isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I haven’t noticed any difference yet but that may be because of my forgetfulness in taking it on a regular basis. I am sleeping better though!

Love lifecycle. When I have the money to holistically supplement, I like lifecycle. They have quality i trust at a reasonable cost. They are very generous to get you in the door with a deep discount on your first subscription order. I have been around and this is really hard to beat for real, medicinal quality mushrooms.

Works well

My first impression of this set was that the box was overly extravagant, but everything was really well packaged. The labels are really well designed and make the product appear very professional. I added a drop of one to start my day at work and once before the gym to test out whether or not my focus and stamina would be improved. I did feel like my focus was better, but it was one time so I'll have to try again and report bank. Now for why it only got two stars; on the back of each bottle, you'll see that the ingredients include approximately 24% alcohol. Now, I'm fine with alcohol, but I know folks that are sober or who personally do not use alcohol, and there's no indication that this product contains alcohol, so that could really be problematic. I will still continue to use the product, especially excited to try the one for rest and sleep (reishi), but I think they need to do a much better job with minimizing packaging and clearly indicating the presence of alcohol.

It includes six different tinctures: lion’s mane, cordyceps, reishi, chaga, turkey tail, and shiitake- each with a healthy dose of over a gram of mushroom per serving. At 1oz per bottle with about 15 servings (or up to 30 if you stretch it to 1ml dose- you actually still get over the tonic dose this way), you get a very solid supply for the price. I’ve been adding the tinctures to my morning tea, and the taste is surprisingly palatable compared to other mushroom extracts I’ve tried. I notice a difference in clarity and energy, particularly with lion’s mane and cordyceps. The included gummies are also convenient for on-the-go focus and energy (about half the caffeine of a cup of coffee), which is just right for me since coffee can feel like too much. The quality feels high, and I appreciate that these are made in both the US and Australia. Knowing they’re lab-tested for purity adds extra confidence. For the amount and potency you get, the price point is more than fair. Doses of medical mushrooms from 1-3 grams are very helpful for actually treating different things. Of course, talk to your functional health pro about this if you have something you feel can be treated with mushroom. I have Crohns and Colitis, which I successfully treat natrually with 1.5-2.5g turkey tail each day.

So basically this is a sharp tasting alcohol base with a bit of flavor added. I have other brands of mushroom extract (various kinds) and they extract into glycerine, not alcohol, and there is a strong mushroom flavor. These almost entirely are strong alcohol. There is some background flavor but I can't quite place it. Maybe it's the "natural flavors" (which don't belong in a product like this). The value isn't great because each serving is rather pricey (and would be even if you got a lot of mushroom). Each bottle is small and contains about 15 servings. I'd think if these were good quality, you'd be able to taste the mushroom, but I just can't. So I don't know how well they work. That said, the packaging is very pretty, with a nice box suitable for gifting.

Wow! No where on the amazon page does it say this has 24% alcohol. Its like taking a shot. It burns going down, leaves a terrible after taste. I'm not a drinker, I dont like drinks that even taste like alcohol. My husband has 20 yrs of sobriety. He was excited to try this. Thank God I tried it first!! I was absolutely in shock. I immediately said "it taste like alcohol" after the first dropper. I shook the bottle before the second dropper and it was no better. Fyi, not all droppers even have measurements on them and the gimmies are all stuck together. I'll keep the gummies and throw the rest of this out. Shame on them and amazon for not even showing the ingredients of 24% alcohol. Kudos to them on the insanely nice black box packaging and insert for saying what time of day to take which droppers. If you like drinks shots go ahead take it straight. If not put it in a smoothie. If you have any one underage or in soberity skip this.
