No More...."ON YOUR LEFT!"
This is a basic bicycle “ding” bell that is loud enough for most people to hear from afar. I installed it on my bike because I got tired of the verbal “On Your Left” method to warn people on the trail of an approaching bike from behind. The trails I ride are public and therefore shared and can get busy with a mix of cyclists, runners and pedestrians. The loudness is such that it’s probably best to “ding” closer rather than from a distance because it can be hard for people to tell where or what bike that “ding” is coming from. This bell has by no means the loudness of a church bell and may or may not be enough for downtown rush-hour commute. But it’s definitely loud enough for bike paths and trails. No more yelling – “ON YOUR LEFT”.

Ring is a little weak
Sound is not a sharp as other bells i have heard but works fine on a busy rail trail.

Small, works great
Not much to say -- easy to mount, doesn't take up a lot of room on the bars, simple design is easy to use and seems like it would be difficult to break.

Pretty good
Bell is just ok. Fits the bar and rings but the sound is not a piercing as I’d like.

Inexpensive and Very Effective
These mount easily on our bikes. They are easy to install and use. They have a nice pitch which can politely warn people of our approach.

Quick shipping. A solid bell, easy to mount with plenty of sound for my needs. Good choice, good price.

Barely Rings.
I own a bell that looks just like this, purchased several years ago and has loud ring. I own and ride several different bikes and thought this would work well on my road bike. A working and reasonably loud bike bell is very effective when passing pedestrians. The ring on this bell is barely audible. I would not even call it a ring.Total junk. This will be going to Good Will. It may be good for a child's tricyle.

Too small for my bike :(
It says it fits most bikes, but it didn't fit mine. Way too small, and I don't have a monster big bike.
