I have opened and used the gold one a few times so far. You need 2-3 coats but the final outcome is a metalic look. It is very thick and you might want to dilute it if needed.

Great metallic paint. I paint rocks and it covers well. Good size bottle. The colors add a special "pop"

This metallic paint set is very shiny - the gold and silver colors have a nice shimmer that really catches the light. The paint is pretty thick straight out of the jar, so you can see brush marks on the first coat. I found that adding a little water or doing a few thin coats works better for a smooth finish. When I brushed it on thin over smooth surfaces, it gave this cool gold flake look that almost resembles real gold leaf. You get three big jars plus some brushes, which is appreciated. It covers well overall, though I needed two coats on paper and canvas to get it really opaque. Fair warning - it does have a strong smell that might bother some people. If you want metallic paint with lots of sparkle and don't mind doing multiple thin coats, I'd recommend this set. It's perfect for crafts, holiday decorations, or any art project where you want that extra pop of shine.

I normally don’t do reviews but this paint does not cover,,, took 3-4 coats on plain white surface and even then it was blotchy and thin

Colours true to picture. Just as seller described the paint. Comes with 3 brushes. I used one pot, to repair an ornament in the garden. The paint was easy to apply. Covered well, and dried quickly. It has proved weather proof, so far too! Definitely would buy again.
