Not too many folks hear of porcelain called lithophane that has a unique way of revealing light through it to portray a beautiful scene for a nightlight. Everyone I've ever gifted one of these to, was delightfully surprised and loved theirs. Using this kind of nightlight is like having artwork displayed that offers many choices to suit one's taste preferences. Not only do lithophane lights come in one porcelain shade of ivory, but there's colored ones too with the same patterns as the plain. One can change bulbs from white light to colored ones for different effects. It's all in the eyes of the beholder how you wish to see your artsy lighting effects. This is a very tasteful gift for others and yourself. The Lithophane isn't just "A" nightlight, it's a beauty to look at and is lifting in comparison to the plain plastic cheapies out there. Artistic and Beautiful Nightlights
This is my third nightlight from this company. I have Half Dome, Starfish, and the African scene with the elephants and giraffe under the iconic Baobab tree (wish this was still available, because I wanted to get one for a friend), one for every bathroom now. I love the artistry and chose the designs that warm my heart.
