DIN Valve, Fill Station Adapter 4500psi/300bar with 20inches Hose

Good quality valve. Package arrived with no damage. It was well packed in a small box in a padded amazon envelope. Installed on a 6.8L carbon fiber tank, filled to 4,500 psi and left for 24 hours. Used foam from dish washing liquid to check leaks and no leaks detected. The valve is of higher quality than most other valves sold on this platform. The gauges glow in the dark, a plus for me as I mainly do my activities at night. It fills my pcp bottles slowly with much control from the turn knob, compared with my other valves which allows a rush of air with slight openning of the valve, which caused problems with my pcp pressure gauge. For installing the fill hose from the valve, use the clear o ring instead of the white plastic ones. Both will work but the white plastic one will leave much of the thread outside. You'd want as much thread going inside the valve. Use a bit of silicone oil/grease on all orings. Very satisfied with this valve.

This is the second one of these that has failed. The other one was at least nice enough to fail during the warranty., for 50 bucks these things should last for a year not a month and a half do not buy they are junk. Stick with the type that only has one gauge on it, and does not utilize a check valve.

I use this valve on a "buddy bottle" for my PCP air rifle. That small half liter bottle is enough for one good fill on my rifle so if I start with a full gun I get around 100 shots between gun and bottle. Which is more than I've ever needed. I rarely fill from the bottle as it's easier on my compressor to fill the rifle to 3600 PSI than it is to fill the bottle to 4500 PSI so I just top off the rifle from the compressor as needed. Which means this valve sits for long periods of time without being used and so far it has held pressure perfectly and flawlessly. One thing I particularly like about this item is that it has a seperate one way fill valve so I don't have to fill the bottle through the main air hose. Just connect the compressor to the fill valve, turn it on and let get up to speed, close the compressor bleed valve and let it fill. This way the compressor is never struggling against bottle pressure to fill the bottle which is VERY important for compressor longevity. The compressor just has to load up the feed line and filter to the point where it cycles the one way fill valve open instead of trying to fight bottle pressure both ways. I also like the fact that the gauges are luminescent. Shine a light on them and they backlight glow the indicator needle making it very easy to see the real pressure being indicated. My larger bottle doesn't have that and I miss it. I wish all PCP related gauges did this, it's a very nice detail. Something I've noticed is that due to compression heating the bottle fills but as it reaches ambient temperature it shows a small (350 PSI or so) pressure drop. If I top off the bottle after it cools down good then it stays at full pressure until I use it. Which again is very seldom so I can see that the bottle is holding pressure for extended periods of time. The single complaint I might have is it would be nice if there was a ring, stud, loop or hook, or some way to attach such a thing. So that I could hang the bottle safely on my shooting bench out of the way. This is a very minor quibble and I solved it with a cable tie holding a hook but ... It would be nice to have because the temptation is to hang the bottle by the feed line and I don't think that's an optimal solution. That's all I can ask and expect from such a device and this was one of the most economical options available on Amazon. I'm a happy camper. Edit: I don'5 use this much or often because I have a much larger tank (3.7l) and/or I just hook my guns up to the compressor. This is on a half liter tank that will give one gun one good, solid refill. The tank is small so it's very easy to take along if I go somewhere and I don't anticipate more than 100 or so shots. Which is quite a lot, it' s the equivalent of two standard boxes of .22 LR ammo. So this valve doesn't get much use as a rule. Even when I used it very little it was about a month or a bit more out of the box and installed when I noticed that my tank was leaking slowly. Not much at first, then more as time went on. It finally got to the point where the tank was not holding useful pressure long enough to be worthwhile. I did a leak check with soapy water and it was leaking around the one way fill valve. So I de-gassed the tank and put in a new seal and some teflon tape and that stopped the leak around the one way valve mounting threads. However, I continued to see a drop in pressure and a soap bubble test showed leaking at the fill hole of the one-way valve where that gold colored filter is. So I de-gassed again and replaced the "O" rings in the one way valve. Still leaking. I replaced the entire one-way valve and now no more leaks. The tank has been pressurized for at least a few weeks and every time I look at it the gauge reads the same. Obviously the one-way valve that came with this is defective. They're pretty cheap and easy to swap out so if you're having any issues with this valve losing pressure you might try replacing that. It worked for me. So far. I don't know that buying a more expensive valve would ensure this problem wouldn't happen. I think this is just part of the risk you take buying low cost things made in China and if all that ever fails on this is the one-way valve I'm still happy. It was an easy and cheap fix that was not hard to diagnose. It would be better of course if the manufacturer used better quality components but any maker can get a bad batch of this kind of thing and not know it because it's a problem that takes time to show up.. I took a star off my original review for this. That seems more than fair to me.

Works good ,no leaks , so far so good ,great value and quality.

This valve does work very well. However, the fill valve has already failed. I would understand if a year or so down the road, but it didn't last long at all.
