inexpensive replacements for my monoprice tubes
I have a Monoprice version, 50 watt MPTube. After about 3 years, I started to notice some harshness coming from the unit. I figured that the tubes may be the culprit. I researched replacements from other tube companies that would have cost more than the amp itself. I stumbled upon these on Amazon. A quick install and I was up and running with no issues. The sweet smoothness is back. I can't tell if they are better than the stock ones when they were new, but the performance has to be at least equal, as I don't have any issue with the sound now.

I got these just to see if I could hear a difference and have a spare set of tubes if I ever need them. Good sound, not sure I can tell the difference between these and the stock tubes just by ear, but they work as advertised and sound good with my turntable.
