No it has no SLS product additive. There is a sulfate like atom but not the type you may be used to harming your body

Q: Will this work well with a loofah, or is it better to apply by hand?

Apply by hand. A loofah will absorb too much product.

Q: I heard it’s fake because it comes taped and smells chemical like.

It’s not fake, it definitely smells like coconut. The smell just doesn’t last super long after showering. This brand of body wash is also carried in a lot of stores like Walmart, TJMaxx , Marshall’s, Stop & Shop etc.
