Shortly after I received this pen and started using it, it was left in my vehicle during a 3 month stay at the mechanics shop. Over the holidays, during single degree weather it stayed in the back seat. I have my vehicle back today and the pen didn't hesitate to write. It seems to have kept all of it's ink as well. I am so happy to have both of them back and even more happy that the pen did not dry out at all. During a time when some pens can be questionable after sitting idle for just a week or two, this one has performed outstanding and I still love the way it writes. Well done Asvine.

I went for the upgrade to Bock Nib. As a vac filler it's two main established competitors are the TWSBI 700R and Custom 823. I have both and can say that okay, it's not an 823. However, I would get it over a 700R any day of the week. For one, it's cheaper (even with the bock nib upgrade) and two, subjective, it looks smarter and more of-a-piece than the 700R. It was Bock nib and you can ask for Asvine to QC it before shipping, so the pen wrote well out of the box. If Asvine produce a V200 in different colour - either the furniture (rose gold please?) or the acrylic, I'm getting another.

The bock nib is very smooth, and the ink flow has been tuned very well. It is not too wet that only the best fountain pen paper can handle, but also good enough that does not require any pressure to get it going. The build quality is also much nicer than the more expensive twsbi VAC700R, totally worth the money.

Der Asvine V200 Titan-Füllfederhalter besticht durch sein außergewöhnliches Design. Trotz der Verwendung von durchsichtigem Acryl (ist ja gerade der Clou bei diesem Modell) wirkt er sehr hochwertig und entwickelt in der Hand eine angenehme Schwere. Was die Vakuummechanik angeht, bedurfte das für mich etwas Übung. Aber mit Unterstützung durch erklärende Videos aus dem Netz ist die Funktionsweise schnell verstanden. Die Feder gleitet sehr angenehm, der Tintenfluss ist perfekt, wenn man denn daran denkt, vor dem Schreiben die Schraubmechanik am Ende des Füllers ein wenig zu lösen. Tut man dies nicht, zieht der Füller sehr schnell keine Tinte mehr. Von mir gibt es eine klare Kaufempfehlung für dieses hochwertige Schreibgerät.

Did a similar one just now. The value of this pen is just insane. Watch some videos of it if you're unsure. I got it at a steal of a price (around $30) and that's just too good to pass. Reviewers consider it a good value at 2x that.
