Great stuff, well-made, and reasonably priced. This piece of equipment is fantastic. Really well-made, and it works perfectly. It feels compact and sturdy in the hand. Very good quality. It tested very well.

I used to estimate distance for building a backyard fence. Very accurate.

A little cloudy, but works well for it' price I paid.

So far so good. Time will tell.

Thank you for taking the time to read my review of this entry-level, yet well-designed range finder. I have more complicated, sophisticated range finders for use on long-distance target shooting. They are more expensive, and you don't want to use them unless you are very serious about sighting in a new optic, or reaching way out to touch something. This compact range finder from GREEN SHOT is perfect as an everyday device that can satisfy most shooters, whether putting holes in paper or on the hunt. With an effective range of 1,200 yards and a magnification of 6, this beauty can get the job done easily and accurately!!!NICE!!!😃 I was blown away by the +/-1 yard margin of error this unit provides!!!😉 The unit's power switch activates the viewer and three different modes of operation. Mode 1 provides you with horizontal distance and angle. Mode 2 allows you to see the vertical height and angle, while mode 3 is a speed mode used for quick acquisition. I was very impressed with this unit's advanced Angle Range Compensation feature!! It's unusual to find this level of sophistication on a rangefinder at this price point!!!! The eyepiece is easily and quickly adjusted to bring the reticle into perfect view. The display is clear, and the information on the screen is clear and easily discernible. Acquiring a distance measurement takes approximately one second from the time you focus your target and then press the button. This rangefinder is user-friendly, and the instruction manual is clear and precise. The lower price of this unit doesn't mean it's inferior in quality. The unit is a sturdy piece of equipment!! It's dustproof and waterproof, allowing the finder to work in all types of weather and environments. CONVENIENT!!!!😄 It is a dependable companion in the field. This rangefinder is provided with a carry case, a cleaning cloth, and a battery (CR 2) to get you up and running immediately. I have used this rangefinder to help "sight in" several scopes and find this device a great help!!! I'm not a hunter, but I can see this unit being a treasure of information when you're focused on a target. 🚩I rate this outstanding rangefinder from GREEN SHOT a super-solid 10 out of 10 because it is affordable, is easy to use, provides invaluable information from multiple modes, is built tough to withstand the elements, and is both compact and light to carry!!! I recommend this surprisingly fantastic rangefinder to beginners in the field as well as seasoned adventurers!! This unit has everything you need to be accurate and successful regardless of your query. I am using this for archery practice. This is very easy to use. Once I understood the three modes available, I find that it is simple to quickly determine my distance. This is comfortable to hold. The optics are pretty good and the focus adjustment is easy to use. I am happy with this and am eager to use it for deer hunting this fall.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This Laser Range Finder does the trick and has repeatable results. I’ve ranged known distances to 600 yards and it’s accurate. You can also determine speed and inclines. Inclines are shown in degrees on the display along with distance. This isn’t a tool for measuring rooms in a house. Accurate measurements begin at about 7 yards or so out to the range limitations.The range finder comes with a lanyard and a carry case. It also comes with the battery (CR2) required. The instructions are basic but you can figure this finder out without them. The viewfinder is no lit so you cannot use this in the dark. However you can use it in low light.I have another brand range finder that’s more expensive and yet doesn’t have the features this one. I consider this a good value and it works as intended. An added bonus is if you lose it or crunch it under your golf cart you’ll not be out too much and can buy another.

I've been wanting a range finder for while now,so when I saw this one I pounced on it.It's a neat little tool,smaller and lighter than I expected.The instructions where clear and easy to follow,and the only set up needed was installing the battery,which was included.Quick note on the battery,it's a 'CR2',which is a new size to me.I intend to pick up a couple to have as spares,you might want to also.The range finder itself is easy to use,it have an power switch and a mode button.The power switch turns the unit on and off(duh) and also is the 'activate' button if you will-you press it to activate the range find function.The mode button accesses the three 'modes' (again duh),horizontal vertical and speed.Horizontal and vertical are self explanatory,speed allows to track a target.All of this is of course explained in the user manual.I've only been using the range finder for a day,but I'm impressed.Now I know it is to the mailbox for example.You hunters and photographers will no doubt get better use out of it than I will.I'll update this review should any problems arise..
