Perfect Upgrade for Meteor 350 Better than 15W50 I switched to Motul 7100 10W50 and it is far superior to the stock 15W50 liquid gun, especially for city riding. The gear shifting is now effortless—just a light touch and it glides into next gear. The engine clutter has reduced significantly, making the pure exhaust thump much more audible I have also used 15W50 motul 5100 and 300V, but motul 7100 is best

The best motor oil that money can buy. Period. I use this in a Yamaha scooter. A 2006 125. I ride the hell out of it. It burns not a drop of oil. Everytime I change the oil exactly on Liter of this stuff goes in and exactly 1 liter comes out when I change it. I check. Almost exactly the same amount that went in comes out. In a 2006 motorcycle it should burn a little oil. Not the Motul. This stuff doesn’t look or smell like oil because it has no petroleum in it. This is strickly a group IV PAO synthetic. It’s better than any petroleum based oil could Ever be. Its flash point is about 80-100 degrees higher than a good group 3+ ‘synthetic’. The group 3’s aren’t truly synthetic. They are bread oils but they have petroleum producers in I’m. They are a lot better than plain old group 2’s but this Motul is a completly differant animal altogether. This stuff doesn’t undergo viscosity shearing or thermal breakdown like a group 2 or 3. Group 5’s are water based oils. Nissan makes one for the 370 z and Infinitis and the new Z. It is good too the group 3+’s are your Penzoil Platimums and things like that. Motul is the only pure Group 4 PAO oil tbag I know of. I plan on using this stuff in all my engines from now on. I live in a very hot climate and this stuff is expensive but it’s cheap insurance as far as I’m concerned.
