This has a subtle taste of barley and goes very well with milk, coconut milk, and a sweetener of your choice. I use Laird sweet and creamy creamer. Tastes mild and is a cozy warm drink in the winter. Will try the same thing but iced in the summer and see how it blends. Satisfying like coffee, but without the caffeine.

Tried it for the first time and can say this taste way better than the one that begins with a "P". After awhile, way back I could not stand this P-drink and to this day, after awhile, cannot stand it again, after trying it once more. I mix this one with a little milk and is remarkably acceptable as a coffee substitute. I could live with this one as even some coffee taste worse than this and I buy roasted beans and grind them myself and could not stand how bad tasting some of them was and that's why I went looking for a coffee substitute. I only need to see how the powder will remain as a powder in about 75% humidity where I live.

We used to drink this a kids in Germany and I still like it today as a coffee substitute. It's sugar and caffeine free. I drink it with some milk and it tastes great almost a bit chocolaty with a hint of coffee.

I do love the taste but it does not taste like coffee at all
