Great watches at a great price!
Love these watches. I ordered one to see what you get for this price, figuring if it was junk I didn't waste that much money on it. That was the black/gold finish. Got the watch and included with it was the pin removal tool to resize the watch band. 2 minutes later the watch was on my wrist. I wanted an automatic watch, no batteries, as there is nothing like going to put a watch on only to find out that battery is dead and has to be brought to a jeweler to have it replaced. I put this watch head to head with my Bulova to see how accurate it is. I let them stop and wound both of them by hand 40 winds which gives the Bulova over a day of reserve. This watch kept up with the Bulova in both accuracy and reserve. The watch is heavy compared to the Bulova, but not cumbersome on the wrist. When wearing, the automatic mechanism definitely keeps the reserve level up and I have yet had to wind it while wearing it. I liked the first watch so much I now own 5 of them. They are all great. There are many times I choose to wear one of these over my Bulova as I don't want to risk damaging it. I get many compliments when I wear these, and having the different color finishes give me the ability to choose depending on my attire.

Nice mechanical watch, cheap useless band
I really like this watch. It looks good, and seems to gain a minute or two every couple days, which is terrible for digital watches, but about par for the course for an inexpensive mechanical watch. The band is just garbage. If you don't tighten it up on your wrist to the point of being immobile, it constantly opens itself from normal hand movements depressing the release on the side of the latch, and it feels light/cheap as well. That means I had to spend another $20 on a good band, which changes the price category to a whole different tier of watches... so I likely would have gone with something else if I knew I was going to wind up spending this much money anyway. Now that I've got the new band on it, I really like it though, so I won't be returning it. The band I selected is "Juntan Stainless Steel Curved Solid End Tapered 20mm" here on Amazon.

Alright so for water resistance, value for the money, accuracy, and value for the money, I am giving respectively; (between water resistance and accuracy) a 3 out of five, and a 2, averaging in my perspective 2.5., simply because I never would honestly try to take a shower, with this watch, because it's nice, ie I want to make my watch to keep working and not take risk that far. For accuracy, I just would say a 2.5, simply because this watch I have noticed does lose minutes when I fall asleep, and if it's deep still enough sleep, it has, (as I have noticed like today and maybe yesterday) and can, lose about an hour. I forgot how exactly much it was. Finally, for value for the money, I cannot really give an accurate idea of how nice this watch really is, at this point in my life, because $40? A watch that works for $40? They make self winding watches that look this nice, for that cheap? This has been my dream watch for decades, and I can't really believe how nice it actually is. So, for that reason, and as a person that is not in fact currently rich/wealthy, I cannot give a clear description of whether or not this is as good of a watch as it looks. I don't know what it's like at all, to keep thousands and thousands of dollars on my wrist. I have learned, however, with this watch, that there are definitely levels, to watch-wearing. Some people are really good, and some people are not. I found out, with this watch, that I could and did get used to wearing it all the darn day, ie 24-7 pretty much, except for taking showers. That's about my style, wear it super focused, even in your sleep. It is very heavy, and I used to only wear it to church every few weeks, but after about a year or so now, I have learned that there is quite a bit that an individual can do with basically a weight, on the wrist. So, if you want to get a significant magnitude up the learning curve of knowing what time it is in the traditional, slow-and-steady, alice in wonderland white rabbit, that classic business, start with this. The only way I can express how I feel is to say that this watch makes me feel smart, but I have nothing to compare it with, nothing, I just can't believe how well it works. Thank you

I Love this watch, But you get what you pay for...
This is a beautiful cheap watch that feels very comfortable on the wrist. It's mesmerizing to watch which also makes it an absolute joy to wear. But as I mentioned it's a cheap watch, not an affordable one. Its automatic self-winding isn't consistent enough to guarantee getting through a day or two without slowing down, but this is an easy enough fix by winding it once a day to guarantee you're giving sufficient power to the main spring. If wound once a day it remains accurate. The strap is very comfortable, but the pins on the clip will slowly start to protrude from the clasp when taking the watch on and off and need to be occasionally pushed back in which is fairly easy to do. (the included tool for removing links is also awful) I also wouldn't call this watch water-resistant at all. After one boat ride at Niagra Falls, the watch was filled with water. The watch was never submerged and the crown wasn't open, it was just subjected to mist. A few days in a container filled with silica gel with the crown unlocked got out most of the water, but there is still enough moisture within to cloud the face after a few hours of wearing the watch. That being said, I am still considering getting another one. I have an orient bambino that is much nicer in pretty much every regard, but even still there are times when I just crave this watch. It's just a really fun watch at a cheap price. Sure it has minor annoyances and isn't water-resistant enough to survive 10 minutes on a rainy day, but it is a very beautiful skeletal watch. It's not too gody or ornate yet remains eye-catching. I'll give it 3.5 stars since it's cheap and I love the design.
