WAXEX Oil and Grease Stain Remover for Clothes - Sidecar Soap

I’m convinced this stuff is actual witchcraft. I tried this as a last ditch effort to save a few blouses with stubborn oil stains of some sort on them that no amount of washing, rewashing, re-rewashing, Dawn, OxiClean, or literally any other stain remover had been able to touch. I was so convinced the stains were baked in at this point that I was going to finally just give up and throw the blouses away if this didn’t work. The instructions say to apply to both sides, leave for 5-10 mins, and then wash on warm. When I first applied the product it was a little worrisome because the product itself felt very oily and seemed to just turn a small stain into a very large one, but I figured what do I have to lose at this point. I always wash my clothes on cold temp however, not warm, so I also figured I’d test that out on my lost-cause blouses to see if the warm temp was really necessary for the product to work. Lo and behold, even washing on cold, I removed my clothes and after air drying them the stains on all three blouses that I had been waging all-out war against for actual months were GONE. Just gone — it was literally that easy, and there was no fading or damage whatsoever to the fabric itself. No sign that anything had ever been there. I almost could have cried 😂 I am a true believer now, I don’t know what they put in this stuff but I will always keep a bottle on hand from now on. If you have impossible grease stains that you have given up hope on, try this before you assume they are permanent.

A stray pink crayon made into the dryer with a load of jeans and left pink wax all over the denim. Multiple pairs of jeans were searingly ruined. This product removed all traces of the crayon from all of the jeans. Most pairs were clear after the first wash, only 2 pairs needed a second treatment and wash. This product literally saved me hundreds of dollars in replacement cost for the jeans!!!!! What a lifesaver!

HOLY GRAIL!!! This works magic. I had super stubborn oil stains on a pair of pants that I loved, and tried literally everything; all the tricks: dawn dish soap, tide pens, my typical spray, scrubbed with a toothbrush and soap, truly everything. The stains had been set in the drier, even, too. I was honestly feeling pessimistic until I found this product. It works wonders. It’s definitely worth the investment and I have used it on pants, skirts, shorts, shirts, hoodies, you name it, and it hasn’t failed me yet. It doesn’t really have a very strong scent, and the size looks small a little at first but a little dab will do ya and you’ll be set. If you have stubborn oil, Alfredo sauce, olive oil, paint, any oil based stain, this will do wonders.

I am very impressed ! It did an amazing job removing old stains from my chapstick that melted in my pocket in the drier. Removed almost all stains on first try. However, it did not work as great on lighter scrubs for whatever reason, maybe I left it too long on that one set. The green scrubs at the end got like a white ring around where the stain was , not sure if that will come off after a few more washes. Overall I’m very impressed, just be cautious to never leave it more than the recommended 5-10 minutes or it will leave a white residue ring like last pic.

No idea what’s in here but it works! I have three stain prone boys. One got into my dad’s memory box & took his Navy sweatshirt. It held tremendous sentimental value for me & not only had one of my beloved knuckleheads stained it all over but then he left it in his hot TX sun baked car for months before I found it. To be fair, I had hosed it down w/ Shout three times but I didn’t have faith it could undo the damage. In the past I’ve had to toss good shirts bc spicy splatter from Thai, Korean & Mexican delicious food was set in, greasy burger juice, blood, chocolate, etc. The Sidecar WAXEX oil & grease stain remover is a mystery liquid that removed the mystery baked in stains (as well as ground in melted chocolate from another BK eating in his bed)…it all came out. The only thing that didn’t come out was blood. That may have been too long waiting. I just wish you’d sell it in a realistic boy-mom sized vat. The bottle is tiny. I was, however, able to get the sweatshirt & sheets good & soaked in the liquid. If you get it in your skin it feels oily but it’s not goopy.

Product didn’t work well on grease stain

I would give this item 6 stars if I could. After accidentally running a small Aquaphor bottle through the washer and dryer, I thought I had ruined an entire load of clothes. I tried everything to get the oil stains out, from shout spray to dawn power wash to rubbing alcohol, and nothing worked. When all hope was lost, I ordered this product as a last ditch effort. I applied to my clothes, let sit for a few minutes, and washed with my regular tidepod with oxiclean. After the first load some of the stains were completely gone and all were lighter. I reapplied and washed a second (and third for some) time and washed able to get the stains out, saving me HUNDREDS of dollars. THANK YOU WAXEX

This works well. I seem to get butter or oil on many of my shirts, and have previously thought nothing would get the spots out. I have tried dish soap, oxyclean, and several other suggestions from the internet. This actually has removed spots that have been laundered many times previously (and thrown in the dryer, which set the stain). I don’t love the application tip, as it allows the product to come out quicker, but I have used about half the bottle on a total of five shirts (each having multiple stains). When the alternative is throwing the clothes away, that’s a great deal. I recommend it!

Good works on husbands clothes

This works like magic - I had a brand new expensive sweatshirt that I promptly got an oil stain on while cooking and this took it right out. I had not put the stain through the dryer yet so can’t confirm if it would have come out in that case but will start trying it on other pieces soon. So happy to have saved my sweater!

Had multiple oil stains on my new shirt, and the normal Dishwashing liquid wouldn't get rid of them. I saw this, read reviews and thought I'd try it, without any expectations. It actually worked, so am happy with the product. Only downside is that it's pricey.

I bought this for oil food stains on a cotton top that had been washed and other oil stain removers were used, that did not work. I also thought it might work on a favorite cotton jacket that I had put chocolate in the pocket and it melted. Nothing has come close to removing this so it was a long shot. I used this product once and both stains were removed so I highly recommend - this is a wonder product
