The food this makes is delicious, and it was a hit at our table. One thing to be aware of is the power draw. I originally had both zones plugged into the same extension cord and it constantly tripped the breaker. I ended up getting a longer extension cord so I could run one zone to a different area, putting them on separate breakers, and that solved the problem. Cleanup was super easy, which is a big plus for a grill and hot pot combo. Just plan your outlets ahead of time and you'll have a great experience.

This hotpot is ALMOST perfect! Both sides get hot and cook my food easily. The non-stick has proven to be true so far and I’ve been able to use this grill the same as I would at a KBBQ restaurant. I had two friends over to have a hotpot night with my husband and I, and between the four of us this was the perfect size! Obviously it’s not as much space as the restaurant grill, but between the divided hot pot and the grill we didn’t struggle with taking turns or sharing. The pot and grill do get VERY hot! It’s definitely a grill-level heat and cooked our thinly sliced meats quickly. The heat adjustment is easy to use so if it does get too hot it’s no big deal. One thing to be aware of is it can definitely blow a fuse. As others mentioned, when we had both sides of the grill on our power went out along the same wall. LUCKILY the solution for us was just to unplug/turn off everything along that wall (it was our Christmas tree, air purifier, and vacuum base so it wasn’t a big deal to unplug those things). Once we did shut the other electrical things off, we had no issues at all and just did the same beforehand when we’ve used it the times afterwards. So if you plan on having nothing plugged into the wall, it’s perfect! Also be sure to turn it on BEFORE using it for the first time to burn off whatever they put on it for the non-stick stuff. It causes a slight odor but it’s harmless (at least that’s what the note said), and after the first time using the grill it’ll go away indefinitely.

Used it once, no complaints for the price, and it's a lot bigger than I expected.

Extremely disappointed!!! We bought this back in August for a special gift for our kids. It came broken a d had to be returned. We received a new replacement promptly and had high hopes for this to cook Hot Pot at home. Love doing social shared family style meals. Unfortunately, it has only been used 2 times and it over heats constantly shutting off throughout the meal. This time it completely stopped working as well as killed our surge protector. VERY glad we used a surge protector our We would have bigger problems. Not sure if this is just another defective unit or if the design is poor. Either way we wasted a lot of hard earned money on a gift that can no longer be used.
