Meister 100lb Filled Heavy Bag for Boxing, MMA & Muay Thai

I’ve been using this for the last year and I love it. Maybe 2-3 days a week for 30ish minute sessions. I’m no professional but the bag has barely shifted. It’s packed well and it seems durable. It’s labeled at 100lbs. I don’t know if it is actually that weight as I haven’t put it in a scale. But regardless the bag is great and I like it a lot.

Amazing heavy bag and even better customer service! Meister has been a brand name staple in the MMA industry for a long time. They are well known for their quality products and customer service - both of which did not let down AT ALL! I bought this bag to be able to train Muay Thai at home. The quality instantly out of the bag I could tell was amazing. It’s been holding up nicely now two weeks in. No signs whatsoever of wear and tear, and the weight is perfect. I had an issue with the delivery - more on Amazon instead of meister. The cover was partially torn and I reached out to the meister customer service directly - they sent a replacement and it arrived literally within a few days! Amazing product and even better customer service. I will always make sure all of my future MMA gear is from meister!

I spent a lot of time thinking about the right size bag to get lengthwise so I thought I’d share my set up if it could save other people sometime. The ceiling I’m working with was 7’ 4” and I got the 60 inch tall bag. I wanted a bag that I could do low kicks with 60” will work just fine. You can see the pictures how the clearances are. I’m about 9 inches off the ground. I added a carabiner to attach to the ceiling mount and this is on a 7’4” ceiling.

I’m very happy with the bag. The bag came in good condition and seems to be well made. I don’t know much about bags but I would say its medium hardness. The outer material is such that you could punch the bag with bare hands, but the pros always suggest gloves for many reasons. I am using it for both punching and Kicking and it works very well. You will likely need help moving and hanging it. The easiest way to move it if you are by yourself is to flip it end on end. It comes in a protective bag, which is easiest to remove upside down once you have unzipped it. I have hung it from my basement steel crossbeam with a beam clamp and a swivel. I prefer the straps to a chain because it’s a bit more quiet. Like all heavy bags I’m not sure how long these bags go before the material sinks a little bit, but it appears you can easily unzip it and repack the material if needed. It’s a 100 pound item so short delays in shipping may occur. Tip: use audio commands to Siri to start and stop timers for your short timed bag sessions.

I really like this bag. I'm 194lbs and It absorbs punches and kicks with ease. Only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars is the main seam down the side is a little off; I bulges slightly in some areas but does not have an impact on performance and I don't think I will have any issues with the seams breaking... the leatherish material is high quality and is soft. overall, its a great bag and we are really enjoying it! I'd buy it again.

I had previously been in a kick boxing /MMA gym but had to move (unfortunately to a rural area, so no similar gym). This heavy bag is exactly what I needed and seems the same as or very similar to what my old gym had. Definitely worth the price!! Only down side is that it is shipped only in the protective bag… which for most ppl is prob fine but mine got pushed out of the delivery truck onto gravel (didn’t witness it, but how else would those rock pock marks gotten there?)… so the bag does have some small ‘dents’ but still seems very sturdy, hopefully over time that won’t backfire on me. SO happy I bought this! - I’m able to get myself to go box even when other exercise seems in surmountable. ***would buy the heavy bag spring hanging system***

Before I even punched the bag I was happy with Meister. The heavy bag is shipped in the storage bag as the package. That’s ok but mine was delivered with a damage to the storage bag. Fortunately the punching bag was unharmed. I still contacted Meister about the damaged storage bag and they sent a new one immediately. I don’t have a lot of experience with punching bags but this bag seems very durable and and has a good feel during workouts . I’m glad I paid the price for this bag over some of the other brands that probably would have not held up or had the same customer service since they weren’t made by the company selling them. I’m very happy with this product!

Shipping was fast, and the outer shipping bag is tough. The heavy bag itself is 60" (not including the strap lengths) at 100 lbs which is perfect for my height and works great for muay thai workouts. The prefill is very well done. This bag is ready to go on arrival. Looks great too in black w/gunmetal lettering. Had it hung up and taking beatings in about 5 minutes.
