Here Kitty
I ordered this cat house after reading many reviews of different houses. It is not very sturdy lookingโmy son has not been available to help me assemble it yetโbut I plan to reenforce the wooden sections with additional lumber. Overall, the price was right and I am pleased w my purchase.

Good quality versatile entry catio
My cats love this catio! I got this catio for my porch because we have more space lengthwise than heightwise and this is one of the few I found that was the right size. It was also one of the few that allowed for making an opening for a cat door. Our widow is only about 20" from the ground on the outside so I struggled to find a catio with the correct door dimensions. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. All the pieces were well marked and the precut screw holes were cut and finished very nicely. It even comes with a staple gun which you need for the mesh sides. If you want to allow access from a pet door, you just snip a hole in the wire mesh that corresponds to the pet door. Wire snips are very useful for this, but we were able to do it with kitchen shears without too much of a problem. The mesh is pretty pliable, so we were able to just fold over the sharp edges and it works great. Our cats love the shelves although I do wish they were a little wider. There is plenty of floor space for a litter box if you need one. It wasn't a concern for me, but it is important to note that this catio does not have a floor to it. If you are handy and able bodied, you can probably put this together yourself in about an hour and a half. It's definitely easier to put together with two people, but mostly just for the part where you're putting all the sides together. I would highly suggest using a drill because you do have to get the screws into the wooden frame. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase!

Roof caved in after2 months
I LOVED this catio and so did my 3 cats. I put it together easily. Very well constructed with good materials. However, after 8 weeks we started noticing the one side of the roof was sagging. Now, at almost 10 weeks the roof is completed detached and breaking.

roof leaks/caves after heavy rain collects too long
i love almost everything about this catio. easy to assemble, good price, quick delivery, sturdy, my cats love it, ive added extra, bigger shelves for my fat cats. the only problem is that the roof is caving in from rain water sitting on it. i am going to have to reinforce the roof next week, ive had the catio for 3 months. given the price, i still think its totally worth it!

Perfect!
Love this catio! The assembly video was a huge help during setup. My cat isn't much of a climber, so the long layout is perfect for him. It took a few short visits for him to get comfortable since he's not used to being outside, but now he's settling in nicely. It looks great, feels very secure, and includes thoughtful extras like a scratching post, lounge pad, and cute sign. Very happy with this purchase!

Very cheap quality wood and hardware - may work in some circumstances with modification(s)
We raise chickens and guinea fowl and have two good coops with runs. We have a need for growout pens for our chicks and keets and decided to give this one a try. For the price, we didn't have high hopes, so we were not overly disappointed when we opened the box and saw the low quality wood and hardware. The pen itself assembled easily and my wife (5' in her 50's), assembled by herself by the time I got home from work. We setup the pen in the yard for our keets that are too big for the brooder, but also too small to run free in the yard. Immediately we knew this wouldn't work. There is no bottom to this pen, so predators can easily tunnel under it. Also, the framing of the pen is very weak and a larger predator (dog or large raccoon) could easily push it over or move it around. Lastly, the stapling of the hardware cloth is not very good and we could push on the wires and get the staples to come out. Not to mention, the wood is extremely cheap and most likely untreated, so, sitting on the ground, the wood touching the soil will assuredly rot within months. Not to mention, cleaning this out is going to be a nightmare, with chicks and keets escaping with the door open to clean the cage. We decided to spend more money and build a hardware cloth bottom with legs - this allows it to sit up off the ground - making it less messy inside because the poop falls to the ground where we can rake it. Also, this gets the cage off the ground to prevent rotting and make it more predator proof. We also added l-brackets to secure the pen to the new base and added more to tighten up the framing overall. Next weekend we will probably apply a weather treatment to get more life out of the wood and may even add additional roofing and even some sidewalls for protection from the elements. So, this $200 pen quickly becomes $300-$400 and will still probably not hold up for more than a couple of years. This pen would probably work much better, as-is, if used under a covered patio or under a carport, etc., with a solid flooring (driveway, porch, slabe, etc). Otherwise, you'll going to have to add modifications that will cost time and money. I'm going to update how this thing ages and will revise this review in a few months. As of now, I only recommend it if your have a protected area to keep it, off the ground, or you are willing to modify it.

Roofs caved in after heavy rain
Ordered the catio a while ago. Putting it together was not the easiest thing to do. Now that it's in the backyard, we have used it for our two indoor cats to get some sun and get to eat some gras. However, living in the north east with lots of rain, all three roofs caved in. In essence, we have to replace those roofs or can't use it anymore.
