I normally buy the serenity ultimate, amazon just switched to this. how do the two absorbencies compare? the former shows 5 of 5 dots, this shows #5.

The picture shown here is still Ultimate pads, just 3 less in the package. Personally, I have found that Ultimate is still excellent, but I also like the Overnite pads and switch back and forth between the two. The Overnite pads have an extra wide end that I put to the back to give my poor butt some padding as I have to sit more now than before due to an injury. I hope I have understood your question and my answer is helpful.

Confused. What is the total quantity in: "33 count (pack of 3)"? Does this total 99 pads or 3 packs of 11 pads for a charge of $28.19?

I usually get "packs of". So, you should get 3 packages and each package should have 33 Pads. Total of 99.

Does anyone know what the difference in length is between long and regular? They are out of long.

Regarding the question about the length of "regular" pads... the photos shown are of two very different types. The Tena Ultimates, Maximum, (6 teardrops on the package) is a 13-1/2 inch long pad. Same width top to bottom. It is Not the "Long" pad. That is a different item. The items shown being compared are actually an Ultimate pad and an OVERNIGHT pad. The overnight pad is longer, wider, with a much wider back end.

Are the Tena Ultimate pads unsented?

Yes. The Tena Ultimate pads are not scented. That's another reason I like them so much. These are good quality comfortable pads with good odor control.
