American Girl, Truly Me 18-inch Doll #104 with Dark-Blue Eyes, Straight Caramel Hair, Light Skin, for Ages 6+

I’ve loved my Samantha doll since I received her in 1987. Therefore I knew I wanted to get my granddaughter an AG doll once she turned five. I let her parents pick this specific style. She’s wanted one for years anyway and was so delighted to finally receive one. Although I cannot say that the AG dolls and accessories of today are the same quality they were under Pleasant Rowland (thinner plastic), I was impressed with the doll I purchased. She has bright blue eyes and a lovely face. Her included accessories- shoes, hairbrush, clothing- are adorable, brightly colored, and of high satisfactory quality for children. My only nitpick might be this particular hairstyle. The packaging around the head of the doll kept the hair squished close to the head, so that and the side-part makes the hair a little too difficult to style. Other than that, I expect this doll and her countless accessory possibilities (of which I am very jealous) will bring my granddaughter the same joy Samantha brought me for many years to come.

I bought this #122 Truly Me doll because she is just so beautiful and would be doubling as my Wednesday doll for Halloween. American Girl products, for the most part, are high quality and this doll is no exception. Her hair is long and straight, so very easy to braid and style in different ways. I also like that her hair is so soft you can part her bangs to look like she doesn't have bangs. The price was good as I got her on sale.

Nana was a hit with this one, my greatgranddaughter was so excited to get an American Girl doll, and I got her at an excellent price ($105.00) which was a win win all around. This is a quality doll, her hair is beautiful, you can see she is durable and will last for many years of play.

ORDER. I had ordered three of these dolls for my nieces for Christmas and they adored them. The dolls are high quality without the price tag. They are less expensive compared to other competitors.

We were very happy with our first American Girl Doll.

This is the second American Girl Doll for my second granddaughter. She loves her. Since both girls are younger I purchased the dolls with straight hair one blonde and this one brown both received with big hugs. They both play for hours with the extra outfits I purchased. The girls even dress up as the princess characters and dress the dolls up with matching outfits. The American Girl Dolls have such beautiful facial features, articulative legs, arms and are sturdy. Both girls like the size since they really play with them dressing them and playing tea time sitting them at their table and chair set Presentable gift, (in my opinion ) worth it, color fine, and girls appreciate the gift. Happy granddaughter and very Happy Nana.
