Connects very easy, you just need a little plumbing skills. It’s not loud at all. Works great

So far, so good. I had a different model (one that suspended from the sink drain). It never really worked well as you had to keep adjusting the ball valve to balance the pump output with the volume of flow into the sink. This unit requires no additional valves and comes with its own check valve to prevent back flow. It is much quieter, and sits on the bottom of the cabinet. This is for sinks, there’s no maceration so it won’t work for solids.

When selling a product, please ensure it matches the description and photos. This pump makes a terrible noise—it is impossible to work. I strongly advise against buying this pump. I give one star be cause I can’t give zero..

Replaced a pump under the basement bar sink that often get some food scraps, coffee grounds, etc. into it and down the drain. No serious plumbing experience. I'd say installation is "easy" since I did it in less than an hour once I had the right diameter hoses (or PVC if you're doing it permanent). I didn't find the the instructions particularly helpful, but what could they ever say about my particular situation? You can examine what's included and figure out what needs to be done. What I needed for connections was included. The pump works and is *quiet* in my opinion. But maybe the old pump was just unusually loud? It easily keeps up with whatever the bar sink can send it. Expels water into existing PVC piping with a lift of maybe 12 feet with a 25 foot horizontal run to wherever it goes under the bathroom. It does this so fast I think it could handle a much greater load. Runs often but for short periods -- less than one second each time -- given the amount of water coming out of a wide open bar sink tap. It's "reservoir" is small, so that makes sense. I think it's quiet. It's been working for three weeks now with daily use, and I'm pleased with it.

Hooked up for a temporary project. It works great very easy to setup. The sound is very minimal and overall size is very compact. I would highly recommend!

Assembly is similar to the big name $$$ competing brand I installed at home many years ago. Everything is provided connection wise, except of course, whatever piping you need to get to and from the pump. If installing as a DIYer check local codes, especially WRT to venting. It's a pump, so it makes pump noises, but they seem in line with my other pump at home. Not overly loud, not whisper quiet. Long term durability I cannot speak to as of yet. Too soon.

Bought this to hook up a temporary shower in basement while our bathroom was being remodeled. A bit noisy but not as loud as we thought it would be.

I love this it's such a live saver because my bathroom usually let out the water so slow and with this it's out in no time , I will be purchasing another for my kitchen sink as well , it's so worth it
