I ordered these based on the overall positive reviews and the sale price of $18.99. Each unit takes 6 AAA batteries which adds to the cost but since I love to use freshly ground salt and pepper when cooking these were the ideal solution to the issue of needing two hands every time I wanted to add salt or pepper to my food while cooking. I love the ease of adjusting the coarseness or fineness of the salt/pepper and by only needing 1 hand I can continue stirring while I am seasoning/tasting. I was quite surprised at how quickly these grinders dispense the desired spice by simply tipping them upside down. The one consistent issue I have with the hand grind pepper mills is trying to get a fine grind. These were so simple to adjust so that I get the perfect grind each time I use them. The size of the grinders fits comfortably in the hand. They are somewhat top heavy but the acrylic bases are sturdy and do not add unnecessary weight to an already hefty upper half making them user-friendly - dare I say fun to use and a conversation starter as well. From table to stove to counter top these are versatile grinders perfect for cooking, baking, and seasoning at the table.

I've wanted a pepper and salt grinder forever! I read the reviews and ordered these and I love them. It does take 6 AAA batteries per grinder, so we'll see how long the batteries last.I do love the ease of use, so far A+

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked this one Because of the other reviews, my only complaint is the LED light on one just does not work.

Despite the price and looks, it can HOLD a lot and it is really Strong.My different brand gave up on crystal salt grinding which this little one have no issue at all with huge container.The only downside (to me) is that it does not have button at all.If you flip it, it automatically start grinding.

Works well…so easy to use…Like fresh pepper and nice not to have to grind it manually.Was concerned about battery replacement since it uses 6 … so far has not been a problem… using same ones.

These work amazing! I have bought a different brand that didn’t hold up and was very skeptical about buying a different set. This set is amazing and I will be purchasing another set so I can have them for other spices other than your normal salt and black pepper.

Love the automatic dispensing of salt and pepper. Only negative is it has a difficult time fine grinding peppercorns. Even in the finest grinding, chunks of pepper come out.
