How long is the cord?

Very long, you use the clip to tighten the glasses when wearing. If you relax the clip, then the glasses hang around your neck. You may not want this and prefer an elastic band that is just pulled over you head.

Will these work on a rollercoaster that goes about 60mph?

What an interesting question. I'd say yes, I think it would work on a rollercoaster going 60 miles an hour. If you really want to play it safe, cinch it up.
