AudioControl LC-1.800 High-Power Monoblock 800W Class D Car Audio Subwoofer Amplifier with AccuBASS, Line-Level RCA & Speaker-Level Inputs, Adjustable Low Pass Crossover, Subsonic Filter

I paired this amp with the AudioControl LC2i to tap and take control of the subwoofer output in my B8 Audi A4. I am using it to drive a 10" subwoofer in the cubby hole on the passenger side in my trunk. The amount of control is phenomenal and really makes a difference since the B&O system wants to cut the bass whenever the volume is turned up to save their crappy paper woofer in the rear deck. This amp allowed me to cleanly drive my sub without any muddiness or overdriven buzz. It is small, it is affordable, it doesn't overheat, and best of all it sounds clean and natural because of the amount of signal control it has. I've been able to restore the low end of my stereo to a reasonable and accurate level. I didn't need more than 800W and for most situations you won't either. Unless you're trying to rattle your neighbors windows, you probably won't either. The only amp I have found that is even comparable is from JL Audio and it is twice the price. For the money, just buy this one then find a safe place to mount it and call it good. I am pretty sure this would fit underneath most front seats, but I can't be sure since mine is mounted in my trunk on the opposite side of my subwoofer box and my battery is beneath my spare tire so my install was incredibly easy compared to some of the systems I've built over the years. Regardless of your install requirements I would still recommend getting this amp, but especially if you want to keep your factory radio intact. The build quality is top notch, the price is great, and it is more than powerful enough for most situations. I'll try to remember to post a picture of my setup the next time I am in my trunk, but if you're already shopping for an amp just take my word for it and buy this one.

I've had this amp for about 18 months. It worked well for 18 months.... Well one day it decided to stop working. It goes into protection mode. It now stays in protection mode and will not play. This amp was installed by a licensed professional. Long story short, the amp has a short in it... I was under the impression this was a new amp.... I was wrong. Now I have to by another one...smh

Im supposedly supporting a local Seattle, WA local manufacturer, all their amps are made in China. Professionally benchmarked 2 units and both gave out or had problems. Could not get any results. To top it off, installer let me know some of the mosfets look to be tampered with/repaired in the past from the look of being offset and flux on the board.

First time running an AudioControl amp. Does amazing, super nice build quality. Works perfectly with 16v.

I love this amp! I came from a Zapco 850MX-II and this thing is so much more powerful and sounds better at 2 ohms... Yes "sounds better" can be suggestive, but this AudioControl just has a sound and punch the Zapco seemed to lack now that i've compared the two!... The Zapco is a great amplifier, dont get me wrong!!! BUT this AudioControl just has a different sound, and control that is more pleasing to my ears! You can find amp Dynos on YouTube by meade916, he bench tested it, and it pumped out 1100 watts at 2ohms... no problem at all dishing out the power!

I don't always write reviews,but I'm gonna on this an say that the ease an usefulness of this amp makes putting a sub in your newer car effortless!!the set up with there amp letting you connect your speaker wire as a remote turn on an signal instead of having to run a separate loc is just amazing!!the accubass is amazing and easy to set up w no bass lost at any volume now!! setting the rest up of the adjustments was easy peasy!I highly recommend this amp as of know it's been in the truck about 2 weeks with zero issues!!to anyone thinking about it...just do it!I am only 2 weeks in but if anything happens I will definitely update the review! thanks!!

Nice product

Audiocontol has been part of my car audio history from farther back then I care to admit. This amp lives up the the legacy of the brand. It has a great feature set and the GTO system works so good, it makes turn on wires obsolete. The accubass feature is a major value add. With a little research you will find this app is underrated on power. These things makes this amp a no brainer when adding a sun to a factory head unit
