This is the kind of pan the TV cooks say you need to form fond in your recipes but without the big price of the ones they recommend. It still cleaned up like new when done. The lid makes it versatile and it's large enough for cooking family meals. Very pleased.

Great set for price. The pans are actually good weight and finish better than other inexpensive sets. One of which I just returned upon opening the fruik one so thin off. Keeping these though. Been through a lot of pot and this batch is good.

The Kitchen Academy meets more than your expectation. I chose this set because it had no negative reviews, and it proves to be a wise decision!. It's sturdy and well built, with better than average weight. The pots and pans heat up quickly, evenly and SURPRISINGLY require less STIRRING while cooking, i.e. Coucous! I purchased the creme beige color because I'm not a fan of the speckled colors. However, the beige color, when viewed up close, actually does have some tiny brown muted specks, barely perceptible. The faux wood knobs and handles are HANDSOMELY attractive, ergonomically COMFORTABLE, and do not retain heat! CLEAN UP with this set, is an ABSOLUTE BREEZE, with just a few wipes around, with a dish cloth! Honestly, for the excellent QUALITY and SHEER BEAUTY, the price point of the Kitchen Academy is a "homeroom"! Whether you've been out of cookery for awhile, (like myself), or just want to upgrade and try something new, or give as a gift, without "breaking the bank", the Kitchen Academy cookware is a "SLAM DUNK"! ' '

early days, one use. First, I did not catch that the 2 skillets only come with 1 lid. In fairness to the seller, the use lid, singular. But I would have thought 2 skillets, 2 lids. Also, the larger skillet bottom is slightly convex, oil runs to the edge. Not bad, but it is there. In first use, some sticking. I'm hoping it will get better with use. Still, for a budget set, not bad. I'm keeping them.

Should have read the reviews, moisture collects on the inside rims of the lids and is difficult if not impossible to remove or clean out. Discovered while pre-heating and milky translucent stuff was dripping into the oil in the pan. Also didn't like the fact that the handles for the pans were not solidly riveted on but had to be attached with the included nuts to attach to threads on the pans that didn't look very sturdy. Performance of the pans themselves for cooking were good.

My husband and I love these pans! If you use them correctly nothing sticks. Just make sure you heat up the pan first. Then add your oil (or whatever you use, butter etc) then heat that up. For my eggs, I heat pan, then oil and a little butter, heat that up, then i turn down the pan. add eggs and let them cook a short while before you flip them. (very important to let food cook a bit before flipping or stirring) They slide right out of pan. Handles stay cool when used on top of stove. Every once in a while I will do a quick SOS pad to it and its all brand new again. Love these pans. I use them in the oven also.

Es un sartén bastante bueno yo lo compré porque cocino muchos alambres y ese tipo de cosas y va perfecto para eso pero también puedes hacer pastas te puedes hacer tus huevos en la mañana sin que se peguen obviamente tienes que ponerle un poco de aceite o manteca y con eso va perfecto solo tienes que al inicio coger bien el tiempo en el que se calienta para que no se le pegue nada pero la verdad es que es un sartén muy bueno se ve fuerte calienta muy rápido y guarda el calor también está bastante bien por el precio no te arrepentirás

Excelente sarten, tuve que volver aprender a cocinar pero no me arrepiento. Estamos mal acostumbrados al teflón que olvidamos las reglas básicas de la cocina, el control de las temperaturas. Llevo 15 días usándolo, hice huevos estrellados, carnes, papas fritas, y guisos. Todo excelente pero el huevo es lo más complicado. Este material alcanza temperaturas altas muy rápido, especial para sellar carnes y ahorrar energía o gas.
