Maxpedition Spartan Wallet

To address some people's concerns about the bill pocket. I had no problem fitting bills in easily amd wondered why people were having trouble. Without overthinking i went to put bills in again and paid attention to my technique. I think that has a lot to do with it. Instinctively my index and middle fingers grasp the paper near the top while my ring and pinky finger hold a little over halfway down. Then as i push the bills in, top corner first at a slight angle, my bottom two fingers slide the remaining inch to the bottom of the bills. That sounds complicated but it's not a conscious action. It's just how I've always done it without being aware. If you're used to just sliding money in then I can see how frustrating it might be to have a bill pocket that's so near in size to its contents. Other reviewers mention the way the cards sit.. All at the same level. Gotta agree witg that complaint. It's a legit design flaw. Another concern is the size. It's bigger than the wallet it's replacing but by no means does it seem too big. I carry front pocket of dress pants, jeans and cargo shorts and never have a problem. And if you wear super tight jeans then you shouldn't have bought a wallet. They make purses to hang over your shoulder if you must wear pants SO tight that a 5% increase in wallet size means you can't hold it.To sum it all up I find one of 3 major concerns to be valid and only subtract 1 star for that. Great buy!

This wallet is not bad for the price ... the reason I gave it 4 stars over all is it’s hard to get the cards out sometimes ... also the velcro is really loud 😂 as far as functionality and durability it’s bomb proof

I just received this wallet and really like it. I made the aftermarket design change suggested by Jeff Scott on September 5, 2015. That was a fantastic suggestion. Thanks Jeff. If you've read or watched reviews, you've seen that another complaint is that the cards slots are not staggered which causes the cards in the top slot to disappear. I decided to take an old, expired card and trim 2 pieces to the height that I wanted to raise the cards. I then pushed these pieces to the bottom of the slot and then reinsert the cards that I wanted to store there. They're sitting where they should now, slightly above the slot. I thought that I might have to glue the pieces together but so far they're being held tightly enough to stop the cards from sliding down.

I shopped around for a replacement to a hand-made leather wallet that I had for 5 years. My old one was well made but was showing its age. I first looked at other leather ones made in the USA but nothing really excited me and none were cheap! In the meantime I bought a phone holster by Maxpedition and was really impressed with its workmanship and functionality. While exploring the Maxpedition website, I noticed that they made several wallets and came across this wallet. I decided to try it out since it seemed to offer all the functionality that I needed and it wasn't very expensive. When it arrived I saw the same workmanship and quality that I had experienced with the phone holster. I immediately transferred all the contents of my old wallet to it and never looked back! It fits my hip pocket perfectly - it's not too thick and it quickly molded to the curvature of my seat. This is a very functional wallet. And it kinda looks cool!

Very pleased with my pick of this Maxpedition wallet.I love the idea of the Velcro straps that secure the cards in their holders. Very deep section for your bills, I like, When you are looking for a certain Bill they are not exposed so people standing near you,cannot see how much money you have. If needed I would buy this wallet again but I do believe this one will last a long, long time.

I wasn't sure about this wallet when I purchased it. Some friends had purchased one and they we happy with it but not thrilled over it. some complained of the difficulty of getting cards out of it and the velcro was like a vault.I have used it now for a few months and I am satisfied with it. It's durable, strong and holds everything well. As for any difficulty in getting cards out, I like it that way.Good wallet!

The quality of this isn't too amazing. Through out the wallet the fabric is folded over in uneven layers causing ridges to run your fingers when pulling cards from the wallet. The size is an inch too large since the top part above the card slots is useless and because the cards all stack on top of each other this is a 1 /12 inch thick wallet.On the plus side, the Velcro is strong and if it wasn't so hard to remove cards it would be alright.Would not buy again due to these issues.

esta cartera la compre pensando en que está un poco más cómoda pero la verdad viene muy reducida cuando le metes las tarjetas no puedes meter mucho porque se abulta y se batalla para cerrar trae muy buena calidad pero si está muy reducida

Me ha encantado desde que la compre, ademas de una en color negro, son muy practicas, les cabe muchísimo, el velcro para asegurar las tarjetas es super practico y después de algunos meses de uso no han perdido su aspecto.
