Q: What is the average per hour cost to run this system?

Thanks for your question. The pump is rated at 560 watts, you convert that to Kilowatts which gives you 0.56. Kilowatts are then multiplied by the number of hours used to give the KWH which is what our bills are measured in. The average all inclusive electric rate is around $0.10 per kwh. The Custom Pro Floating Fountain operates on AC current, so if solar is your only option you will need to use a solar panel with an inverter to convert the DC energy to AC energy.
