My hair is fine/ medium and soft, I have never really found a barrette that allows me to pull my front strands back and stays put. I am shocked that these allow me to do so! I was skeptical because nothing has really worked before, but these hold my hair back all day without damaging it. They also allow for a little poofiness in the front so my hair doesn't look completely flat. I would definitely purchase again.

There is one style of Goody Barrettes that I cannot live without -- the flat silver barrettes in this package, with the slight engraving pattern. My baby-fine silver "old-lady" hair slips right through most barrettes, but these hold well enough that I can attend a meeting or social engagement and not have my hair slip through! A couple of times one has slipped out when I left them in at night, fallen under the bed, and I was distraught. Then I found that Goody still sells this package on Amazon, with two of each style, and the price is right, so I have a back up stock of them. Thank you Goody!

I have worn the 4 inch version of these classic Goody barrettes for several decades. The 4 inch ones have been the only barrettes that hold my hair comfortably without pulling it. I have been looking for more of the 4 inch ones for 20 years without success. I am down to my last one of the ones that I have had forever. When I saw these I bought them right away thinking they were those. I was disappointed to see they are only 2 inches. I will still use them, but my hair is too thick to use them the way I have the others. The metallic curved 4 inch ones I hate. They are hard to use and are uncomfortable. Goody please bring back the 4 inch ones like these! The color variety in the previous ones was nice also.

Yes! These were exactly what I was looking for. They are small and flat and holds my thinning hair tightly.

Yes, they give a tight fits but are difficult to garner hair into evenly. I would not purchase again. Also? That much HARDER to UNDO when you need to.

I have used these type of metal barrettes for years! The larger ones I had been using didn’t offer enough holding power for my thinner hair, so I bought these! They have worked great! I have shoulder length hair and due to my age it is somewhat thinner! LOL!

I have thin hair and it's hard to find hair clips that are tight enough. These hold tight just like the ads says and stay tight all day! The metal clips come in four styles and colors.
