How high is the actual seat from the floor? I need to adjust office chairs to their highest setting and am concerned that this might be too low.

I would say the seat is 15" from the floor. I love this chair and it's height, but I have a desk with a pull out drawer and it is perfect for that height. The chair would be a little low for me if I sat at the desk top, which is 32" high.

what is the seat height?

It's about 18 inches, though I'm not sure exactly. We bought these chairs for a poker table, however had to return them because they were too short. I did not realize that most poker tables are slightly taller than a regular dining table. It's been a pain trying to find nice chairs at a decent price for the table. But these were definitely too short. Given all the trouble we've had finding something else, I almost wish we'd kept them and just dealt with it...the chairs were really nice and sturdy.

How high is the chair seat? (Seat of chair down to floor with casters)

Right now, with the casters, it is 17" from the seat to the floor (you will sink into the cushion 3" or so, when you sit on it). Now I've been sitting in it pretty much all day every work day for quite a while now, so the cushion may be affected, so I'm guessing brand new it may have been 17.5" or so - just an after thought.
