Love it!!! Flavorful, Fresh, Crunchy and Zesty!!! A great addition to a recipe
I bought Chapulines for a taco night I was hosting at my place. I thought it would have a wonderful conversation piece. Chapulines was new to all my guests, and although they were all skeptical at first, THEY LOVED THEM!!!!!!!!! It really added an amazing touch to the food, and a REAL conversation starter. I've tried a few brands before, but these were actually far better than the ones I have had in the past. These have a lot more flavor (Excellent Flavor) and are crunchier. I've had other brands that are soft and chewy, which were disgusting. These are excellent. I highly recommend them.

It was a Dark Night
I was fired from my job. My wife had left me. They were about to foreclose on my house. I had less than $100 in my savings account. I was very emotional and depressed. I stopped at the liquor store and bought a liter of Tequila (the cheap stuff that burns going down). I got home, started doing shots, and after killing half the bottle, got hungry. The cupboards were pretty empty, and I was a little frustrated, until I found my unopened jar of dried Grasshoppers! Wow! Nothing goes better with Tequila than dried Grasshoppers!!! Those Grasshoppers changed my outlook! I went from seriously depressed to dancing to Mambo #5 in my living room. If you need a mood-changer, Grasshoppers are the perfect food!!! From now on I will always have a baggie of Grasshoppers with me to pick up my spirits!

The Plain are Mild
I expected them to be a little more crunchy. They were fairly bland and tasted/smelled like dried hay. Maybe the flavored ones are better?I'm glad that I tried them and would do so again.

I enjoyed the seasoning
I ordered these for a VBS class. We were studying John the Baptist, who lived in the wilderness and ate locusts (large grasshoppers) and wild honey. After the lesson, I pulled these out and offered the class to try what John the Baptist ate.About 40% of the class accepted the "John the Baptist Challenge." Reactions were mixed, but I guarantee that none of the students will forget that lesson!I got the Adobo flavor. I had no idea what that was, but figured I'd try it. Turns out, it's lime with mild chili powder. I enjoyed the seasoning, but my daughter didn't care for it. She likes spicy, but isn't fond of citrus. I can enjoy a little spice, and these were not too hot for my taste.I will definitely purchase these again next time I'm teaching a class on John the Baptist! Next time I think I'll get the plain flavor, for a more "authentic" experience.

Got the wrong flavor
They're tasty, but given I have a capsaicin sensitivity I ordered the plain flavor ones. I received Chipotle which has peppers in it. I didn't realize it was wrong until I ate one and felt the heat in my mouth. I'm sad I can't enjoy these (doing so will land me in the bathroom for an hour), and given I opened them immediately to snack on them, I don't think I can send them back. Not very happy about this. That aside, if I could eat spicy, these would be very enjoyable in tacos.

Tastes like grass
Not impressed. Also first time eating grasshoppers so I have nothing to compare it too.
