What should the paste look and smell like?

The paste may range from olive-brown to deep greenish-brown and has a naturally earthy, olive-based aroma with no added fragrance. A sharp chemical, petroleum-like, rancid or industrial odor is not expected.

Why is there very little foam, and why does it feel different from body wash?

Beldi soap is a concentrated paste, not a liquid body wash. Very little foam is normal, and using more will not create bubbles. It cleans and prepares skin for exfoliation. Moisturize after showering if needed.

When should I use the Kessa glove?

Apply a thin layer to warm, damp skin, rinse completely, then exfoliate wet skin with a Kessa glove, sold separately. Too much paste may clump or slide off.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, but patch test first. Avoid broken, irritated or freshly shaved skin, and do not scrub hard. Stop use if redness, burning or discomfort continues.

How should I store the jar?

Keep water out of the jar and close the lid firmly after every use. Store at room temperature in a dry place. Natural changes in firmness may occur with temperature, provided this behavior is confirmed by your product stability testing.

Makes my skin so hydrated, it’s crazy! I have Hashimotos and it gives me super dry skin. I put this on in the bath and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before washing off. Skin like silk!

Love it!

A little goes a long way. Not sure what it is about this stuff but it really does exfoliate and make your skin super soft! I use an exfoliating mitt with it and my skin is SO soft afterwards! It does have a faint smell that almost reminds me of gasoline, but it’s very easy to wash off.
