My eyes feel less tired and my sleep seems better
I’ve used these for two nights now and will update my review at a later time. I will say that I’ve noticed some improvements after 2 nights of use. I suffer from a lot of sleep issues due to bipolar disorder, adhd, medications, and family history. I have a sleep study scheduled in December and this year I’ve been willing to try just about anything. I’ve known about glasses like these for a long time but only took it seriously after another bout of restless sleep and sleep deprivation last week. To be fair, Amazon lost my B12 and D3 supplement which I was out of for several weeks. I started taking it two days ago so maybe that’s part of it. However I’ve also had sleep disturbances while on the supplement. I’ve tried Valerian root and ZMA. I’ve bought a special pillow. I use an eye mask and try to use white noise. I do live 75ft from the interstate barrier wall this last year which I suspect contributes to my poor sleep. However as I’ve said this started years ago. Anyway, these glasses are my latest trial and I’ve definitely noticed an improvement. Ive felt more refreshed while waking up and my smart watch that I purchased a couple weeks ago is showing that although my deep sleep is too low and rem and light sleep too high, both deep sleep and rem have happened earlier in the night and been less sporadic after falling asleep. I know I need to get outside more often because I WFH and have a tendency to stay inside. But my habits have been to stare at the computer for work all day, my phone during breaks, and then the TV after work. I would sit downstairs until 12-12:30am watching tv with my boyfriend. Just never felt like I’d get mentally tired but it’s also been a struggle taking Adderall. Last two nights I’ve noticed that around 10:15 - 10:30 I get this natural inclination to get up and start getting ready for bed. I’m slowly moving my bed time back and seem to fall asleep okay. I feel more refreshed waking in the mornings (as much as one can be with the winter sunrise being at 7:30). I especially like that these wrap around. They block out almost all light around my line of vision and when I take them off everything has almost a blue tint and makes me squint. I use LED lightbulbs and read that LED has blue light more than the old incandescent. I’m considering buying redder lightbulbs for the bedroom since I read those are better for your circadian rhythm than LED with the blue light. So far I definitely recommend these. I read a lot of reviews like I do with every project. The only thing I don’t like is that the stems are long but I have a smaller head and they don’t seem to push forward much at all even when resting my head back. The glasses do have a plastic cheaper feel to them which isn’t an issue for me. They aren’t fragile but I’d definitely recommend keeping them in a hard case when not in use. 10/10 would buy again if they broke. And this isn’t a company that sends shady review us for a gift cards with the order. I’m reviewing because the quality is superb imo. Oh and some reviews say these distort their vision. I had lasik in 2019 after wearing Prescription glasses for 11 years. These do not distort my vision to an extent I notice a detriment for reading or watching tv. I can tell vision is minimally changed but I think this is due to the curvature. It will make things sepia seeming but I’ve been using f.lux with the deep Orange night filter on my computer for years and prefer that anyway.

Actually blocks nearly all blue light, unlike nearly all sub 100$ blockers. Best pair I've owned.
The unfortunate truth is that the vast majority of inexpensive blue blockers do not actually block blue light to the efficiency necessary in order to effectively protect your circadian health, brain health, neurological function. This company is the only inexpensive brand of blue blockers I've ever tested, after testing probably 15 different brands, including premium companies I recommend using like ra optics and blu blocks and lucia eyes, that allows in a comfortable 20% of green light and blocks all visible light from most of the green wavelengths down to UV wavelengths. What's wonderful about that is that it still allows me to drive with them on comfortably and still be able to see what I'm doing. I've been wearing these blue blockers consistently about 80% of my nights for over 3 years now. If I was to choose one pair of blue blockers To take with me anywhere these would be them. Pros- Lightweight Not super dorky looking Actually blocks most green and all blue, violet, UV light. This allows me to drive with them at night confidently and still be protected. Very comfortable to wear for long period of time (ears don't hurt, no pressure on temples, etc. Durable and flexible (I slept on mine and heard all sorts of crunching and it's still fine, no issues) Inexpensive Cons - Let's be real, could be more stylish aaaannd that's it. Highly recommended for anybody who takes blocking blue light seriously and isn't just doing it to be trendy and isn't willing to compromise for something that might look slightly more stylish. For true seekers of health this is the best inexpensive choices you can make for blue blocker That I'm aware of at the time of this review.

help protect from seizures
My 22 year old son has a brain tumor and seizures. For many years he has chosen to wear very dark sunglasses and a hat to protect himself from fluorescent lights. I don't know what it is about the light, whether it's the flicker, or the blue light, or even just the intensity? Whatever it is, they give him headaches, make his eyes extremely bloodshot, and cause him to have a seizure within around 15-20 minutes if unprotected. His comfort and health obviously are the most important. But, I dislike the dark glasses because they make people uncomfortable. Many people ask if he is blind, lol. Or jump when he talks to them :) I dislike how dark glasses make people socialize with him less. So, when I saw these amber colored blue light reducing glasses, I thought I would give them a try. I love that you can easily see his eyes, making him much more approachable. He wears them everyday, all day. He plays a lot of online chess and is protected from the blue light from the computer screen, which is an added benefit. Also seems to be sleeping better. I'm happy to say that he isn't having headaches, bloodshot eyes, or seizures, thanks to the amber glasses. Success! Whatever is the cause of his fluorescent light sensitivity, these glasses protect him! They are very comfortable. Only issue we have had is the rubber peeled off at one of the tips that goes over your ear. I have contacted the seller to see if they can replace or discount a new pair. Either way, great glasses! Happy with them :) Have had them for 2 months. update: I got a response from the seller. They are sending a replacement, free of charge. They replace defective products for up to a year! How great is that?! Awesome product, awesome seller. update- bought these in 2018 and they just broke. It's now 2024. So, they lasted 6 years, and he wears them everyday. That's amazing. Buying another pair :)

Good Quality, Comfortable, What's Not to Love?
I love that these give full coverage. They're one of the few pairs that I have found that are this style. They're very comfortable. They don't squeeze too tight or too loose, they have a sort of flexibility to them, and they don't feel cheap at all. They will change the color you see. They're designed for nighttime use, but if I have a headache or my eyes are hurting, I throw these on during the day sometimes for a bit and I honestly think these make a HUGE difference. I have worn them outside before just as an experiment and it's actually kind of cool. I have another pair that's from a different company for daytime use, and I will switch off periodically between these and those. Usually I just use these for nighttime, but I used them for a while as my sole pair and my eyeballs didn't explode or pop out. I believe they don't recommend using them all day because your body actually needs some degree of blue light to maintain balance and hormone levels and stuff out of my pay grade (feel free to do some research). They will change some colors, but not all. You can still see most everything on the computer screen just fine. The only time I really had a problem was when I was sitting there staring at a graph that had a black background and multiple colored graphs (LTspice) and wondering why the graph didn't look like it was supposed to until I lifted up my glasses and realized there was a blue trace on there too 😂 Also once, my external hard drive has this annoyingly intense blue light that flashes when its on and I was wondering why it wasn't on one day, well... you get the picture. They definitely do the job and do them great. I am normally pretty sensitive to all the bright lights. I have things resting on top of various items around my room because of their annoying LEDs everywhere. It's crazy how many things are always shining! If you ever want to test these out, just put them on and look at your stove and microwave light (probably blue like mine). Love them!

Comfort and protection
Helps my eyes from drying out after an hour of cell phone or computer use; color change when playing games on phone; otherwise it fits well

It's like being in Mexico during an episode of Breaking Bad.
Exactly what you pay for. Great value, great fit, great vision in the sunlight.

a must-have for my work
i waited a bit to write a review so i had adequate time to give these glasses a go in the most ambitious setting: at my workplace. i have photophobia (sensitivity to light) and also work at a large electronics retail chain where i sell computers for some of the best buys. you might have heard of them. anyway, the lights from all those screens plus the lights just everywhere else did a number on my eyes, and i tipped into migraines pretty quickly. my migraines are debilitating and did in fact send me to the ER once from a stroke scare, because apparently migraines can do that. pretty wild. anyway, i got these shades specifically because i wanted lenses so tinted as to block out AS MUCH BLUE LIGHT AS PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE and also cover a fair portion of my range of vision as to not hurt my eyes from the contrast. i absolutely did not use these for sleep because i used these while at work and at home, on my computer and off, whenever i felt the headache coming and needed to give my eyes a rest. and i LOVE them. in fact, i'm wearing them right now as i type this. it was a little jarring at first going from regular light to ORANGE, but i got used to it pretty quick. they cover enough of my vision and are tinted enough for me to physically feel my eyeballs relaxing when i put them on in relief. just today my eyes were a bit more sensitive than normal so i wore these around most of my shift to give myself that safety net while i otherwise treated my headache. with these on i GREATLY reduce my risk of migraine and increase my ability to stand in a room with the lights on. also they look pretty solid if i'm being honest. a lot of migraine shades are... goofy, for lack of a better word. i love these glasses. i highly recommend them. i will continue to wear them every single time i need to and to work and i hope i don't accidentally forget them at home because i'm pretty sure i wouldn't be able to do my job as well without them. they allow me to actually look at the computer screens i'm selling which is kind of important. so here's me, a migraine sufferer, saying these are REALLY good shades to get if you have light sensitivity. like really good. they're an incredible deal compared to those pricey prescription lenses or fancy lenses. these are exactly the kind of funky orange shades you need. everything is orange and it is wonderful.

Good range covered and not dark, a yearly purchase.
Been doing this for decades since when they were hard to find. Been through dozens of types. This review is at the life’s end of my second pair of spectra. These cover a fuller spectrum than most oranges in the price range without going into red territory. They fit my narrow face without much leakage, but many larger people seem to fit them too. This pair (spectra 479) has decent optical quality for the first 6 months to a year, but the coating eventually starts to bubble and peel from the inside of lens, then optical quality is shot. Hinges are still fine and have never been retightened. I take care of my glasses and they are kept in lens cloth bags, and if traveling also inside a case. they have held up without scratches for over a year. This includes occasional drops, which often puts specks or scratches in cheap lenses but these held up. Most likely it is not compatible with skin oils and they eventually take a toll on clarity. Apparently I am allergic to the frames and get a small rash near my eyebrows, but not bad enough to deter use. I get this from many glasses. I find most led light painful and alarmingly unnatural feeling, warm or cool white, cooler being worse. Been through enough glasses and spectrogram charts to guess they are around OD-3 or 4, perfect for most household indoor situations. Good glasses for people who have poor lowlight vision and complain when other glasses are dark, some brands can be like sunglasses. I myself am very sensitive to intensity, and when it comes to melatonin/ melanopsin, I have a very wide spectrum- so I have several kinds and use what suits the environment at the time and if I am near bedtime or not. Some led lights will itch my eyes in the daytime and I have lighter ones for that too. Some family members need an insane level to see and these are not the ones I wear at night if the family lights are triggering pain, shielding or flinch reactions. That means most people can comfortably read text or a screen with them. I am starting to lean more to glasses made by optical companies for the clarity/ distortion factors, but these are good for the price. The better blue blockers work, the less color rendering you have. No way around it and keep that in mind if you try to use them for “computer glasses” purposes rather than strictly evening melatonin purposes. Those are different purposes, ranges of spectrum blocked, level of blue blocked and often VLT.

Good quality for the price
I like how they fit on my wide head. Most of the blue blocking glasses I had in the past were tight and broke easily. They definitely help with failing asleep.

The best 99.9% blue light blockers on Amazon
They explain well on the packaging why other blue blockers are a gimmick and give the exact Nm light that these block which are in the blue range... Don't buy stupid 'transparent' blue blockers because they just don't work.... They have to be yellow or amber orange tinted in order to block blue light effectively! These are great and sporty stylish too! You'd look like a bio hacker extravagant with these... Pricing is THE best i have come across on Amazon or anywhere!! Go ahead do yourself a big one and invest in these,, my sleep has improved significantly

The glasses is very durable, nice and looks modern.
This glasses is very good because it has a strong frame that looks slick and also the lens makes the visibility clear and crisp. The glasses look cool and fit well for everyone.

Producto de calidad a buen precio / quality product at a great price
