Manucurist Active Glow Cranberry Nail Concealer Strengthening Polish

This was my second purchase of the Active Shine. Normally, I do not paint my nails however I am a great fan of Manicurist and their nail care products focusing on nail health and structural improvment in general. Their Active range includes a number of different nail make up and treatment nail polishes (2 in 1), and when i first saw them them I loved the Active Shine and had to have it. My nails are not in best of shapes, to say the least, but end up looking really nice, once I apply this polish; elegant and natural.Having used it for a while, I am more than happy with it. This is an easy to use, low-maintenance nail polish that provides a lovley pearlescent look whilst acting as a nail treatment at the same time. It is applied on prepped, bare nails and there is no need for a base or a top coat. The The colour is very subtle tone of beige/nude with a subtle, radiant silver shimmer. It has a broad, fan-shaped brush of a generous size designed to fan out across the nail bed and thus enable you to cover a nail in just one or two smooth strokes. Because Active Shine is a sheer, buildable highlighter polish with a subtle finish, the larger brush size is forgiving and reduces streaks, though very narrow nails might need a little extra care to avoid getting polish on the cuticles. It dries very quickly and offers good wear for an air-dry polish, lasting for about a week, and because the color is sheer, any minor chipping is barely noticeable. It is easily removed by standard nail polish removers.I lalso love the fact that it is a vegan product and that the formula includes AHAs which gently exfoliate the nail surface and make nail ridges appear less prominently.Though not cheap, it is not too expensive either, and in my opinion this is a quality product I can fully recommend

As I'm getting older (I'm 64), my fingernails have really changed - thicker, not as translucent somehow, some very ridged and brittle and easy to break. I've been using all sorts of oils and taking supplements with no massive change, so I tried this. For my nails, it has really worked. I transcribe (very fast typist) and craft with paper and vinyl constantly (that's what I do for a living) and I wash up by hand and always forget to wear gloves for any chores. The polish lasts for ages without chipping - in fact, the only reason I have to change it is because it grows up and looks messy at the cuticle. The matt finish looks lovely and natural and the shade is perfect. I wear it all the time now, and my nails look great. Yes, it's expensive, but absolutely worth it. I use two coats, usually, or more if I actually want to hide ridges. It is easy to apply and dries quickly. I wear the polish constantly. I've had this bottle about a month, I think, and it's maybe 1/5th down the bottle. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be buying it again when this bottle runs out.

Bit pricey, but worth it, good quality, if you like looking natural with just a shimmer of sparkle this is perfect and the more layers you apply and I don’t recommend doing anymore than 3 coats the more colour you get, it’s just beautiful and lasts ages, I bought me and my sister one plus I bought one online via google but Amazon was cheaper..

This is quite a great product in my opinion. I bought the see through blueberry pink one to get some shine on my nails without getting them damaged. I do a lot of gardening and my nails don’t look the best. First I found the polish rather runny but got used to the right application after the first coat; I applied two coats which both dried rather quickly. They’ve been on my nails for a week now and they still look good, so I’d say they last long. I’m not super crazy about the colour, so I took one star off. Will probably try other colours in the future if I see that they are really effective on my nails.

It gives a really natural, soft-focus finish not the typical “I’m wearing nail polish” look. Instead, it just makes your nails look smoother, healthier, and more even. Almost like a filter on your hands that blurs imperfections instead of covering them up.Compared to a more glossy, visible polish I’ve used before, this one is much more low-key and chic in a quiet way. That one feels like “done nails,” this feels like “your nails, just elevated.”What I noticed:-Super natural, barely noticeable as polish-Smooths ridges and makes nails look healthier instantly- Soft matte finish, very minimal and clean-Works with literally every outfit/vibeHonest bits:- Very subtle, so if you like strong colour payoff this won’t be for you- Can look a bit dry if you skip cuticle oil- Wear time is okay but not super long if you’re hands-on a lotKeep layers really thin too much product and you lose that blurred, expensive-looking effect.Overall it’s more about that effortless “clean girl” nail look than anything obvious. The kind of thing people notice but can’t quite figure out why your hands suddenly look so put together.

How wonderful is it to find a product that actually does what it claims? Well, this is absolutely it! Gentle and easy application with super fast drying time and a great colour. The finish on your nails is amazing and the price is very easy on your wallet - and all for a fraction of the cost of a visit to a nail salon! I’m definitely buying this again.

Umm....not worth the hype and pricey. Does give a nice shine however less sure regarding its effectiveness in improving nail condition

I think the polish is worth the price tag! It has a lovely applicator and the thickness of the product is good. It offers a really beautiful, healthy shine to the nail and does not feel heavy at all. I am someone who likes manicured nails but I’m not a fan of gels or acrylics, and where I’m often using my hands too, this polish offers the clean, shiny manicured look I want but without the maintenance or worry of chipping nails and damaging my nails too. I would recommend and will be repurchasing in more shades.

Erano alcuni anni che cercavo uno smalto traslucido, finalmente l’ho trovato! Dopo aver consultato numerose foto e video di chi li aveva già provati, ho scelto la tonalità Blueberry. Difficile renderla in foto, anche perchè cambia in base alla luce, ma si tratta di una tonalità rosata con una punta di violetto/fucsia. Ora, leggendo le recensioni temo che alcuni non abbiano capito di cosa si tratta, questo è uno smalto traslucido modulabile. Quindi non si tratta di uno smalto dal colore coprente e intenso come gli smalti comuni, bensì di uno smalto trasparente che dona però una luce colorata. Luce colorata di cui potete modularne l’intensitá in base al numero di strati, na resterà sempre semi-trasparente e lucido! Io ero molto curiosa di vedere i vari effetti e sono arrivata a 3 strati, ma era bello anche solo con 2. Considerate che l’ho messo velocemente senza molte attenzioni, eppure vi assicuro che si stende facilmente e si uniforma bene. Inoltre si asciuga anche velocemente.Il risultato inizialmente potrebbe sembrare strano perchè non siamo abituati a questo tipo di smalto, ma ci ho fatto l’occhio praticamente subito e mi piace tantissimo! Ora lo indosso da 4 giorni, ed è ancora lucido, senza scheggiature. Le mani assumono subito un aspetto più curato ed elegante, pur rimanendo in qualche modo abbastanza naturali. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi desidera uno smalto facile da stendere e che non risulti troppo invadente, ma che dia comunque subito un aspetto più curato. Mi dispiace che non è stato possibile caricare il video, ma spero di aver reso l’idea con le foto. Ricordate, è traslucido modulabile, no coprente! Proverò sicuramente altro di questo brand.
