Great luck with these Bitter melons!
Grew easily, very vibrant in color, producing after a month or so, the melon is very bitter as also the leaves, which is edible. Will definitely buy and plant more next year (zone 6/midwest state)

Bitter Melon Seeds that Didn’t Please.
Total Junk! I believe these seed are NOT capable of any germination. I put several in very futile top soil and watered as needed. NOTHING! This isn’t the only bitter melon on the market that failed. So I’d save your money and buy something that will germinate like basic sunflower seeds. Good Luck!!!

Sprouted!
I read the instructions and the reviews that you had to prep the seeds before planting. I passed on the advice and just planted them out of the package. It has been 11 days and they have sprouted and showing the initial leaves. I am sure the other will start to sprout if the chipmunks haven’t already found them. So far so good! Update 8/1/26. So I have two gourds growing. The plant is covered in flowers waiting to be pollinated to produce the gourd. Next time I will purchase earlier in the season and grow them.

Highly Viable—Just Mind the Temperature!
These bitter melon seeds are definitely high quality—they germinated quickly and showed great potential! Unfortunately, I lost them because I forgot they require constant warmth to thrive. Even though they didn't make it this time due to my own oversight, I’m impressed enough with the initial growth that I’m planning to buy them again. I’ll be starting the next batch in a greenhouse to ensure they stay warm. If you can provide the right heat, these seeds are a fantastic, viable choice!

Good seeds
I planted 6 seeds and they all germinate. I'm not sure though if they get long according to the picture. Let's see..
