This body oil does a wonderful job at moisturizing. The formula is silky and comfortable against the skin, and doesn't feel sticky or too heavy. The oil absorbs pretty quickly, and leaves you feeling smooth all day. The container lasts for a good while, because a little of the oil goes a long way. The only issue I really had with this product is the scent. While the ginger is absolutely there, no doubt about it, I did find it a little overwhelming and I couldn't smell any other notes in the oil. Other than that, I'm super happy with this and would love to try another scent in the future.

Smell is not what I expected!

Scent: Grapefruit This is a wonderful body oil for all of your skin needs. A good quality with a lovely light scent. I love all of the goodness that grapefruit provides for the body which is why I selected that scent. When I first opened the bottle, I really didn't smell any grapefruit at all. Barely anything, really. It was after I had applied this to my legs and then whiffed at my hand that I picked up the scent. Yes, a definite light natural grapefruit smell. Very pleasant and bright to the senses. When tending to my dry legs, I've found layering my moisturizers to be the most effective method. Start with a good coating of this body oil and allow it to absorb for a few minutes. Then layer some sort of a body cream or lotion overtop and you'll have wonderfully conditioned skin. Of course, even this alone will treat you well. You will have dewy skin for a while, but depending on how much you've applied, and the dryness of your skin, it will all soon fully absorb. Once that happens, you'll be impressed with how well this works. It's clean and good for most skin types. Well worth using over the entire body, especially along areas that need some extra loving care. Appropriate for both men and women alike.

Like for starters. I DIDN’T know I’d like to smell like ginger as much as I do lol. But I really am in love with the scent. It leaves such a nice aroma. Of light lemon and a much more prominent ginger smell. I thought maybe I’d only wear this during the night time but nope I also wear it during the day cause the scent is so unique and captivating to me . It actually does have a light warming effect too, or like idk how to explain the effect but I love it. It def feels spa like. Out of all the oils I have this one leaves my skin glowy the longest. It absorbs in well but leaves a light glowy residue on your skin too. I don’t really smell much of the juniper but the lemon scent mixed with the ginger is a beautiful aroma. (Not sure what ppl are marking it down for, like you ordered a natural ginger oil, what did you expect it to smell like ?! Berries ?! Lol ) (it also definitely has the full ingredients on the back of the box ) I do also feel like it does have some brightening effects to it too as my skin looks brighter these last few days and I’m accounting it to this. I love how the oil comes with a pump cap that you turn to lock and it even comes with a stopper to put around the cap which stops the pump from working so it’ll be great for travel and not having to worry about any leakage.

Always interested in moisturizing so I decided to check this body oil out. The pros: (1) It came well sealed with no leaks. It took me a minute to get the plastic stopper out, but I was happy it was so leak free. (2) It is a generous bottle of oil. It will last a while. (3) It smooths on well and glides across your skin. (4) It does moisturize.(5) It has a lovely ginger scent. (6) It washes off with soap if needed. (6) It comes with a pump which you can use, I chose not to use it, but it is helpful to have it if you want one. The cons: (1) Just to note it contains Sweet Almond Oil so if people are allergic just note this. (2) It is oil so yes it does feel greasy and stays somewhat greasy as it moisturizes. (3) The scent is somewhat noticeable, though I love ginger! Overall, it is pleasant and I found it helpful when my skin was wet to smooth this on.

This oil has a nice rosemary smell. Is very effective on dry skin and the oil is good quality and not greasy. Definitely good value

I found the fragrance of this oil a bit too overpowering for my taste. I chose the lavender version, which also contains chamomile and neroli orange. The ingredients list also shows that it contains tea tree oil, which may be what’s giving it a strange overall smell. I usually really like the smell of lavender, but I just don’t find the smell of this particular oil to be very pleasant. It has a bitter, almost savoury edge to it, that just doesn’t work. I so like the fact that it is free from chemicals and preservatives, and that it's not tested on animals though. This oil comes in the box that is very presentable and looks suitable for giving as a gift. Once you open the box, the bottle is inside with a sealed pack containing the pump dispenser components. You need to push the tube onto the bottom of the pump assembly, remove the screw top from the bottle, then remove the seal underneath. You replace the screw top with the pump dispenser, and follow the direction arrows on top of the pump to in order to open it. You have to persevere with unscrewing, as it initially feels like the pump is broken and won’t push down. Eventually the black collar underneath the very top of the pump will fall away so that you can use it. The oil sinks into the skin reasonably well, and doesn't leave it looking shiny, does leave it feeling greasy for quite some time. It's not so bad if you use it straight after a shower, before you dry yourself. It locks in moisture and sinks into warm skin a bit faster. The fragrance is long-lasting, which is not a good thing if you're not keen on it. However, after about half an hour, it doesn't smell so bad as it starts to mellow. Overall, I can't say I would particularly recommend this product, and certainly wouldn't buy it for myself. I'm sure some people will like it though, and I can't deny that it leaves my skin feeling much softer.
